How to Change Pack-a-Punch Camos in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Fortunately, Black Ops 7 offers not only a classic in-game method to disable the Pack-a-Punch aesthetic but also a new, persistent menu option. This guide details both methods for disabling the camos, along with instructions on how to select and apply different Pack-a-Punch designs across all maps and tiers.

BO7 Zombies : Change Pack-a-Punch Camos

Method 1: The Classic In-Game Override

For veteran Zombies players, the first methodwill feel instantly familiar, as it carries over a classic mechanic from previous titles. This allows you to disable the camo for a singletransaction.

Locate the Machine: Find the Pack-a-Punch Machine on any map. It will typically glow its usual blue color.

The Melee Toggle: Approach the machine and perform a melee attack (e.g., using your knife or fists) on the machine itself.

Visual Confirmation: Upon a successful melee hit, the machine will visibly change its glow from blue to green.

Punch Without Camo: If you Pack-a-Punch your weapon while the machine is glowing green, the Pack-a-Punch Camo will not be applied to your current weapon. Your chosen weapon camo or Blueprint design will be retained.

Note: This method only affects the current weapon being upgraded and must berepeated for every weapon you Pack-a-Punch during the match.

Method 2: The Permanent Menu Solution (Recommended)

For players who never want to see a default Pack-a-Punch camo again, Black Ops 7 introduces a permanent toggle found in the main menu, affecting all weapons across all maps and tiers.

• Access the Main Menu: Navigate to the game's primary menu screen.
• Go to Weapons: Select the Weapons tab.
• Select Zombies Skins: Within the Weapons section, locate and select the Zombies Skins sub-menu.
• Find the Toggle: Go into the Pack-a-Punch Camos section.

Once this toggle is set to Off, all weapons that are upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine—regardless of the map (including Ashes of the Damned and all subsequent releases) or the upgrade tier (Tier 1, 2, or 3)—will retain their standard appearance, including any custom Weapon Camos,Blueprints, or Mastery Camos you have applied.

How to Change and Customize Pack-a-Punch Camos

If you appreciate the power fantasy of the Pack-a-Punch aesthetic but want to customize which design is applied, Black Ops 7 allows you to override the default camos with any unlocked variant.

• Access Customization Menu: Head back to the main menu and follow this path: Weapons > Zombies Skins > Pack-a-Punch Camos.
• Select Your Tier: Within this menu, you can select your preferred Pack-a-Punch Camo for each upgrade tier (Tier I, Tier II, Tier III).
• Apply Custom Camo: Choose an unlocked camo (e.g., the standard Ashes of the Damned design or those unlocked through high-difficulty modes like Cursed Mode). The camo you select will automatically apply to your weapon once you reach that respective tier in-game, overriding the default map-specific camo.
• Reverting to Default: To revert to the standard unique camo that is specific to the map you are playing (e.g., the original Ashes of the Damned design for Tier I), simply deselect the currently equipped custom camo for that respective tier.

Currently, players can choose between the default map camos and those unlockedthrough high-tier challenges, but future seasonal updates are expectedto introduce more unlockable Pack-a-Punch cosmetic variations, furtherexpanding your customization options.
