This space-bound observatory map is filled with cosmic secrets and undead threats, but your first major objective is clear: activate the Pack-a-Punch machine to upgrade your arsenal. This essential guide will walk you through every step, from navigating the map's dual paths to surviving the critical lockdown sequence.

Locating the Pack-a-Punch Machine in Astra Malorum

The coveted Pack-a-Punch machine is housed within the Observatory Dome, the heart of the Astra Malorum facility. Reaching this central chamber requires navigating one of two primary routes from the starting Crash Site. For players not in the challenging "Cursed" mode, objective markers will guide the way, but knowing the paths is key for speed and efficiency.

Route 1: The Museum & Archive Path

This path takes you through the intellectual core of the observatory.

From the Crash Site, open the door to the Museum Infinitum.

Proceed from the Museum into Scholar's Way.

Continue forward to the Machina Astralis area.

Exit through the door leading to the Archive of Orbs.

Push forward from the Archive into the transitional area known as The Veilwalk.

The Veilwalk's exit leads directly into the Observatory Dome.

Route 2: The Luminarium & Abyss Path

This alternative route offers a different scenic (and perilous) journey.

From the Crash Site, head through the door to the Luminarium.

From the Luminarium, access the Abyssal Rim.

Traverse the length of the Abyssal Rim to its far end.

Here, you will find a door you can purchase that opens directly into the Observatory Dome.

Step-by-Step: Activating the Pack-a-Punch Power

Upon first entering the Observatory Dome, you'll notice the Pack-a-Punch isnot immediately available. Your focus should shift to the room'scenterpiece: a large telescope accompanied by a device called the Harmonic Oculus. This instrument is the key to bringing power—and the Pack-a-Punch—online.

Step 1: Initiating the Quest

Interact with the Harmonic Oculus to begin the activation process. The device is damaged and requires two critical components to function. You can actually scout for these parts before your initial interaction to save time.

Step 2: Gathering the Components

The two repair parts are found in specific locations along the map's twomain paths. Again, objective markers will highlight them unless you'replaying Cursed.

• Component One (Lens Assembly): Located in the Machina Astralis room, near the Arsenal Machine.
• Component Two (Power Cell): Found in the Luminarium, positioned close to the Stellar Dissector Trap.

Collect both items and return to the Harmonic Oculus in the Observatory Dome.

Step 3: Powering Up and The Lockdown

With both components in hand, interact with the Harmonic Oculus to installthem. Then, approach the side of the device to initiate the finalpower-up sequence.

Caution: This triggers a 45-second lockdown. You must defend the Harmonic Oculus from concentrated waves of zombiesthat will attempt to destroy it. Keep a constant perimeter and eliminate any threats that get too close. If the device is damaged or destroyed,you will fail the sequence and must restart the attempt in the nextround.

Successfully surviving the 45-second lockdown is your victory moment. The HarmonicOculus will power up, and in a dramatic reveal, the Pack-a-Punch machine will materialize on the platform just below the giant telescope.

Unlike some previous Zombies maps where the machine moves, the Astra MalorumPack-a-Punch remains fixed in this location for the entirety of yourgame. You are now free to upgrade your weapons at will, a crucialadvantage for surviving the deeper rounds and uncovering the map's manyother cosmic secrets.
