If you're aiming to conquer every Easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Shattered Veil, upgrading the Ray Gun Mark 2 to all its variants is a crucial step, especially for the main Easter egg. This guide will walk you through the specific process of obtaining the Ray Gun Mark 2-P, the powerful shotgun variant.

Step 1: Obtain the Ray Gun Mark 2 and an Empty Canister

Before you can even think about upgrading, you need the base components:

• The Ray Gun Mark 2: You can acquire this either through luck by hitting the Mystery Box or by following a specific questline to obtain it from the Armory. If you're unsure how to get the base Ray Gun Mark 2, consult a dedicated guide for that step.
• An Empty Canister: There are three potential sources for an Empty Canister on the Shattered Veil map:
  • Destroying a Blue Crystal: Shoot a glowing Blue Crystal with the Ray Gun Mark 2 to shatter it and obtain a canister.
  • The Pipe Puzzle (Underground Level): Solving a specific pipe puzzle located in the underground level will reward you with a canister.
  • LT53 Kazimir Grenade: Using the LT53 Kazimir Tactical grenade at the entrance below the Double Tap perk machine can also yield an Empty Canister.

Step 2: Gather Additional Essential Items

Once you have the Ray Gun Mark 2 and an Empty Canister, you'll need toacquire a couple more items before you can begin the process of fillingthe canister:

• An Essence Bomb: This item is found randomly within the white boxes scattered throughout the map. These visible boxes can be found near the spawn area, inside the mansion, and in the underground level. Simplydestroy the boxes by shooting them. You might receive the Essence Bomb,or just some salvage. Keep searching and destroying white boxes untilthe bomb appears. These boxes are reported to respawn over time,increasing your chances.
• Two Reflectors: These are hidden in two specific fountain locations:
  • Conservatory: Head outside the main mansion to the Conservatory area. The firstReflector is in the fountain near the Quick Revive perk machine.
  • South West Balcony: The second Reflector is at the South West Balcony, near the PhD Flopper perk machine. The fountain is behind the chalkboard from theDoppelghast code puzzle.

  You might not see the Reflectors immediately within the fountains. Approach the fountains and spam the interact button. Sometimes the interaction can be buggy, so try jumping and interacting if your character doesn't pick anything up initially.

Step 3: Obtain the Light Canister by Solving the Reflector Puzzle

With the Ray Gun Mark 2, Empty Canister, Essence Bomb, and two Reflectors in hand, follow these steps to obtain the Light Canister:

Blast Through to the Secret Room: Head to the service tunnel. On the right side of the same wall where the Armor Vest upgrade station is located, you'll see rock debris. Interact with this debris to place the Essence Bomb. The explosion will break the rocks, revealing a secret room.

Enter the Serpent Mound: Make your way inside the newly opened room. You'll enter a roundchamber with a statue in the center. Proceed to the far end of this room to find the canister machine.

Initiate the Light Puzzle: Place the Empty Canister into the canister machine. This will activate a beam of light emanating from the crystal source in the middle of the room.

Solve the Reflector Puzzle (Three Stages): You now need to complete a light puzzle by strategically placing the two Reflectors to direct the beam of light onto the Doppelghast statues located around the room. Hitting a statue with the light beam willspawn a Doppelghast enemy. You need to repeat this process for threestatues.

• First Doppelghast: Go to where the initial light beam is pointing and place the first Reflector. Then, place the second Reflector just to the left of the canister machine. Melee the crystal source in the center to activate the laser beam and direct the light towardsthe first statue. This will spawn the first Doppelghast. Defeat it.
• Second Doppelghast: Punch (melee) the first Reflector to change the direction of the light beam. Pick up the second Reflector from its position near the canister machine and place it at the top level where the light beam now ends. There will be a small hallway leading to this upper area. Once the second Reflector is placed, melee it. The light beam should now align with the second Doppelghast statue. Melee the crystal source again to activate the laser and hit the statue, spawning the second Doppelghast. Defeat it.
• Third (Special) Doppelghast: Return to the upper level and pick up the second Reflector. Place it back in its original position near the canister machine. Melee the first Reflector once or twice until the light beam is directed towards the third and final Doppelghast statue. Finally, melee the crystal source to send the energy beam to the third statue. This will spawn a special, slightly stronger version of the Doppelghast. Be cautious and defeat it.

Claim the Light Canister: After successfully defeating the third Doppelghast, head back to the canister machine and pick up the now-filled Light Canister.

Step 4: Craft the Ray Gun Mark 2-P at the Workbench

With the Light Canister in your possession, your final step is to craft the Ray Gun Mark 2-P:

Locate the Workbench: Head to the west side of the mansion. You'll find a workbench located in the director's quarter.

Craft the Upgrade: Approach the workbench and place the Light Canister on it. This will activate the workbench. You will now be able to interact with the workbench to upgrade your Ray Gun Mark 2 to the P variant, which is the shotgun version.
