In this guide post we explain everything about How to complete Emergence mission in Black Ops 6, let's see.
Emergence" is the name given to Black Ops 6's sixth campaign mission. This mission is a continuation from the fifth story mode mission known as "The Cradle." The squad had managed to break inside the hidden palace of Saddam Hussein and got their hands on a bioweapon. After tracking its lead to Kentucky, the group traced it back to find that the CIA had collaborated with Russian scientists to construct this biologic weapon that had the capabilities of influencing human cognition. Its birthplace was an abandoned building in Kentucky, so the team sets out to find out more about it.
The "Emergence" task isn't hard per se, but the many puzzle-like obstacles it contains could make it seem that way at first. How to finish this Black Ops 6 assignment is what this guide is going to cover.
How to complete Emergence mission in Black Ops 6?
As you might learn later in this walkthrough, the Black Ops 6 Campaign objective "Emergence" is a bit tricky, yet divided into three tasks. Below is the list of objectives required to be accomplished:
- Hack your way into the Building for Advanced Technologies and Applications
- Identify the four directors' key cards
- Get on the elevator and head down to the biotechnology suite
Biotech Admissions
Once the job starts, Case-you-and Marshall will know that the abandoned facility is full of poisonous gases. The next step will be to wear your gas masks and jump your way to the biotech room. A critical jump will evade you, and you will fall right at the base of the facility. This also will have you inhale the toxic gasses and hallucinate because it will shatter your mask.
You should now be facing a door that's in red light. Attack it, but it won't budge, and the game will let you know you need to find a tool. You should see an axe on the floor, so right-face and head back. Grab it. You are in no danger from the hallucinations for a while, so just ignore them.
First, open the red-lit door with an axe and a turn to the right, and you will come into the hallway. Take your left foot forward and through the now open door. You will proceed down it on your right-hand side, passing a locked elevator; take the stairs. It will prompt you to call security in order for it to be unlocked.
The moment you have turned your back, you will be facing a number of mannequins that have been made to be zombies. Take them out with your axe. Move along the corridor until you reach the round desk. If the phone rings, answer it. You will hear from this caller how to reach the biotechnology room.
Here are the four director's cards you will need: Red from the Cognitive Research Facility, Yellow from A.C.R., Green from Administration and finally Blue from Joint Projects. Next is a map to point out where the A.C.R. facility is (Yellow).
How to Get Certified A.C.R. Yellow Director?
Head left from the Security Console and continue forward. You can see a giant "West Wing" sign on the wall. If you go straight, you'll find there's a staircase to your left with yellow paint. Go up it and head forward. You'll end up in the Director's office.
Interact with the desktop PC. You'll get a simple riddle and the answers to it are "Access" and "Lift." Once you have reached the A.C.R, zombies will pop up. Break out your axe and show them who's boss. Once that's done, the camera will pan to the mannequin with the yellow card. For now, don't approach it.
Search the room for arms and armor, and anything else useful. When you are ready, go to the table beside the mannequin with the keycard; there is a Grappling Hook there.
The moment you do, a hulking Abomination Zombie will charge towards you. A little ways further down, hit the Tactical Equipment button- Q on PC- as you continue facing left to get out of its path. Time to kill that Abomination and its legion of little undead offspring.
Just cross over to the other side of the room; that should do it. You can find Sentries and C4s over there, which are pretty easy to set up, and they will help you defeat the undead in no time. When you've killed all of them, walk up to the Abomination and take the Yellow Card.
It's time to leave this room. Grapple on midway. Search for areas where you can Grapple Hook out of the room. Work your way up back to the main building.
You can select the order of the remaining cards to lock down. But we'll begin with the red one.
The Cognitive Research Facility Card Acquisition Process (Red Director)
Now go back to the Security Console in the middle, and head into the East Wing. Go up the stairs behind the red carpets. If you're not sure where you are, or where to go, feel free to check the Tactical Map. Continuing on will bring you into a room with a console at the back, behind a glass door. Approach it and a tangled Mangler in the water.
Activate the console with the Main Console. Notice here we have the Mangler and the Red Card as the camera pans out. Move back, look up and toss out the Grappling Hook to get atop the upper railings.
Once you jump into the pool, you will see a red tunnel appear behind the Mangler. Swim through it to the other side. Climb up the ladders on your left. Head toward the door on the right. Wipe out all of the nearby zombies.
As you see to your left, there is a locked door. Using the blacklight, flip out the UV light and unlock it. This figure is the same for every user. As you open it, enter the room on the other side. On the console, press the buttons, which will initiate a 25-second countdown for activating all the drain switches.
The first switch is right beside the control panel. The second can be found in the first room after the unlocking has been done. In order to find the room containing the third one, cross to the other side of the ladders and peer over them. Then climb up into that room; inside, you will find the third switch. Now it is time to drain the pool. After the pool is empty, head back through the tunnel.
The Mangler should now be released. As soon as you reach the broken glass cage, this boss will jump out at you. Quickly dodge right and Grapple Hook it. From here, you'll want to fight the Mangler and his legion of spawned zombies. You get the Red Card after their death.
If you head back onto the path you were on, a horde of Frank Woods-like zombies will attack you. After killing all of them, head back toward the center-the security desk.
Green Director Card Administration Facility
You will see, facing the elevator then looking up and left, that there is a room you can climb up to. Follow this path into the Administration Wing. You'll hear the ringing phone. Answer it. Continue further on. Complete the paperwork and put it in the file holder next to the glass chamber.
The first is on a small table in the center of the room, next to the bulletin board. The second sits atop a desk in what would be the far left corner of the room, diagonally across from where you began. The third is on the other side of the café table, near the sink. Finally, the fourth document is with the round table, left-hand side of the room.
Even turning your back to the mannequins will make them still follow you. So, whatever the cost, stay away from them. Put the papers in the file holder beside the glass chamber. The moment you do that, a red mannequin will start an attack. However, it evades your efforts of gunning it down and runs away upon approaching.
Grab it with your Grapple Hook. If you do this a few more times, the mannequin will shatter and become a Mangler zombie. Take it out to get the Green Card. Continue back to the path leading to the Administration Wing by heading back to the balcony.
Joint Projects Facility Blue Director Certification
Once out on the balcony, to find a grappling point, look in the other direction. You should be facing the Joint Projects Facility. Now look at the ringing phone. You want to do a U-turn, head left and continue forward.
Check the camera stands around the glass chamber to locate the Blue Card. But the moment you touch it, a Mimic pops out. Take care of it. If the Mimic disappears, you can revive it as a zombie by shooting at what apparently are moving objects in the room. Scavenge for the Blue Card in its corpse when you kill it.
Entering the Biotechnology Lab
The final leg of the mission has started. Insert all four cards into the system at the security desk. The elevator door will open shortly. Head up to it and clear out the zombies that are chasing you. Once you have reached the top, the screen fades to black and all you see is a red phone.
A movie will play out when you give your answer, right before an arcing thrust of the Biotechnology chamber in your path. There's an armada of undead waiting for you here, as well as a Disciple. Do away with them. Once the Disciple has gone down, a cinematic plays which shows you trampled by zombies. In the end, though, it's Marshall and Sev pulling you back to reality, you quickly come to realize.
