In Black Ops 6 Zombies, the Terminus map requires players to solve a math problem that incorporates a bit of math in order to impress their buddies Strauss and Peck and acquire the free DRI-11 Beamsmasher.
Players can skip the math puzzle in the Terminus map of Black Ops 6 by just paying a bribe to Peck for the answers. However, players can save that 5,000 Essence and work it out for themselves. Here are ways of solving it.
How to Solve Terminus’ Math Puzzle in Black Ops 6 Zombies?
Players will need to turn on the math puzzle to begin. To do this, players will need to flip three computers that are scattered around Terminus; their locations are illustrated below:
- Along the metal gate and railings outside the Communications building.
- Before the Interrogation Room, outside of the Storage Area, you'll find Quick Revive.
- To reach the very bottom of the Sea Tower, start outside the docks at the stairwell.
Head in to get the EMF Fob in the Research Office. Entering it, kill the zombie on the left side. Pick up, then continue on to the Sea Tower. To get the Multiphasic Resonator, head right of Elemental Pop to get the briefcase. Moving on, with both items in inventory, go back to the Research Office and use the computer terminal again twice to make three yellow sticky notes appear with an X, Y and Z.
Although the symbols and mathematical equations are the same for each game, the actual symbols given to participants will differ.
Solving Mathematical Symbols
The above figure indicates all of the symbols and their numerical values. These have been the same across all games and participants can now use the above figure to verify their own set of symbols. All that needs to be known by all players to solve the meanings on their own is that the row, or left numbers, represents the first digit and the column, or bottom numbers, represents the second digit. Example: the circle in the upper right corner would be 0, since it is in the same row and column as 0.
The Initial Math Equation and Its Solution
- 2X + 11 is the initial equation in mathematics.

- X times 2 its value Thus, our calculation would be 2 times 22, or 44,
- Add 11 to it to get its value in our case is 55

How to Solve Second Equation in Mathematics
The second equation in mathematics is given as (2Z + Y) - 5.
I have the answer:
- Multiplying Z's value, that is 2 x Z by 2. So in our case, it is zero because our Z is zero.
- Sum of two times Z, which in our case is 21, and the value of Y, which is 21 in our case,
- Five minus the sum, which in our case is sixteen.
- So here our second code gets cleared.
Third Method of Math Equation
Mathematically the third equation is: |Y + Z) - X|.
- Using the absolute rule, solving for X, we get |Y + Z) - X| = Y + Z - X = 3.
- So X = Y + Z -3.
- So in this case, X = 21 + 0 - 3 = 18.
- So hereby, all the codes are cleared and the chest opened.
- In the above example, the sum of Y and Z is 21.
- To get the answer (-1), take the net amount received (21) subtract the value of X (22).
- If the obtained answer is positive, it is assumed the code is done.
- If it is negative, just make it positive and eliminate the negative; the code is done.
- That is so because the Absolute Value of a negative integer, which is represented by the "|", is its positive number.
Once gamers input the code, a confirmation message will appear with Peck's voiceover. The gamers will be stuck waiting until, in the next round, the Janus P.A. System says "Multiphasic Resonator calibrated". Mission accomplished. In order for the free Beamsmasher quest to progress, players will have to head to the isle that shows up right after the "loading coordinates" portion.
