How to Get Free Essence from the Painting EE in Reckoning for Black Ops 6 Zombies

While many players are focused on the intense, high-stakes main quest on the new Reckoning map, there are several hidden mini-Easter eggs that offer valuable, quick rewards. One of the most useful of these involves finding and placing three paintings to get a welcome injection of free Essence.This guide will walk you through the simple process of completing the "Painting Easter Egg," allowing you to grab an extra 1,500 Essence that can give you a significant boost in the early rounds of a high-round game or an Easter egg run.

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Free Essence from the Painting EE in Reckoning

Prerequisite: Activate Pack-a-Punch

Before you can begin this quest, you must first unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine. This is a core part of the map's initial setup, and once it's active, the paintings will become available to interact with and collect.

The Objective

Your goal is to find three paintings scattered across the map and bring them to a specific wall in the T1 Director's Office. For each painting you place, you will be instantly rewarded with 500 Essence. Remember, you can only carry one painting at a time, so you'll need to make three trips.

Step 1: Find the Paintings

The three paintings spawn in specific, fixed locations in every game. The paintings are easy to spot once you know where to look.

T1 Project Janus Reception: This painting is located in the spawn room. Look behind the door on the north wall, in the same room as the teleporter that takes you to thePack-a-Punch room.

T2 Sublevel 10: Once you are in the Pack-a-Punch room itself, head to the northeast corner. You willfind the painting leaning against a railing in the dark.

T2 Android Assembly: In this room, which is home to the Franken-Klaus build parts, thepainting is found on a metal pillar at the southeast side, next to someyellow "wet floor" signs.

Step 2: Place the Paintings in the T1 Director's Office

Once you have located a painting, pick it up and carry it to the T1 Director's Office.

• The wall where you need to place them is on the north side of the room, near the Arsenal machine.
• As you approach the wall, you will be given a prompt to "place" the painting. Do so, and you will immediately receive 500 Essence.
• Repeat this process two more times for the remaining paintings.

After you have placed all three paintings, you will have a total of 1,500 Essence added to your account. This may not seem like much, but it's more thanenough to buy an extra Perk, upgrade a weapon's rarity, or get a crucial piece of equipment that can make a huge difference in the early game.Enjoy your well-earned bonus!
