How to Complete the Reckoning Aetherella Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Season 5 of Black Ops 6 delivers an explosive wave of fresh content across all modes. Multiplayer enthusiasts are treated to new battlegrounds like Exchange and W.M.D., alongside fresh game modes and seasonal events. However, the real showstopper is Black Ops 6 Zombies’ latest map, Reckoning—the epic conclusion to the game’s undead saga.
After being teased in Grief during Season 4, Reckoning has finally arrived, offering a sprawling Easter Egg quest that ties up the narrative. But beyond the main storyline, the map is packed with hidden secrets, including a side quest that grants players Aetherella as a powerful companion.
If you’re looking to unlock Aetherella and harness her abilities, follow this step-by-step guide to complete the Easter Egg.

Step 1: Activate Pack-a-Punch, Obtain the Gorgofex, & Shoot Aetherella

Before diving into the Easter Egg, you’ll need to:

Activate Pack-a-Punch – This is essential for upgrading weapons and progressing in the map.

Acquire the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon – There are two ways to get it:

• Mystery Box (RNG-Based) – Keep spinning the box until you get it. Increase your odds by using the Wonderbar! GobbleGum.
• Guaranteed Method – Complete the Forsaken boss fight in Reckoning to secure the Gorgofex. (For a full breakdown, check our dedicated guide.)

Once you have the Gorgofex, head to T1 Project Janus Reception (the spawn area). Near the Rampage Inducer, look for a zombie spawn point to the left. You’ll find a bathroom stall—use any spray on the door to open it, revealing an Aetherella figurine.
Now, charge a shot with the Gorgofex (hold the fire button) and shoot the figurine. This will bring Aetherella to life, causing her to float and follow you.

Step 2: Place Aetherella into the Particle Accelerator’s Beam

With Aetherella now following you, make your way to T2 Sublevel 10, where the Particle Accelerator is located.

• Jump into the Particle Accelerator’s beam (just like in the main Easter Egg quest).
• This will send Aetherella into the beam, completing the second phase of the Easter Egg.

Step 3: Enter the Beam & Hit Aetherella to Complete the Easter Egg

For the final step:

Jump back into the Particle Accelerator’s beam to transform into an energy orb.

Avoid all other objects floating in the beam’s path.

Collide with Aetherella to knock her out of the beam.

Once done, Aetherella will return to you, but now with an upgraded ability: she will fire laser beams in the direction you’re facing, mimicking the Aetherella trap from Liberty Falls.
