The second weekend of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is underway, and with a higher level of competition, understanding your class and its gadgets is more crucial than ever. Battlefield 6 marks a triumphant return to the classic four-class system: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon. Each class has a unique role on the battlefield, defined not only by its primary weapon proficiency but also by a set of powerful gadgets that can turn the tide of any fight. This guide provides a comprehensive breakdown of every gadget available in the beta, explaining its function and how it complements the playstyle of each class.

Battlefield 6: All Gadgets

Assault Class

The Assault class is designed for aggressive, frontline combat. Their gadgets are geared towards rapid entry, sustained pressure, and individual survivability, allowing them to lead the charge into enemy-held areas.

GadgetDescription
Adrenaline InjectorThe signature gadget of the Assault class. This injectable item provides a temporary boost to sprint speed, resistance to explosives, and an increased ability to hear enemy footsteps. Use it to quickly close the distance to an objective or to survive a firefight.
Grenade LauncherA versatile gadget that fires explosive grenades in an arc. It's perfect for flushing enemies out from behind cover, clearing rooms, or dealing splash damage to light vehicles.
Stim ShotA quick-use injection that provides rapid health regeneration, allowing you to quickly recover from damage in the middle of a gunfight.

Note: The ability to carry a second primary weapon is a "Field Spec" or "Training Path" benefit, not a standard gadget. It is unlocked as you gain experience with the Assault class.

Engineer Class

Engineers are the backbone of any combined-arms operation. Their role is to control the flow of armored combat by both destroying enemy vehicles and keeping friendly ones in the fight. Their gadgets are a direct reflection of this purpose.

GadgetDescription
Repair ToolThe signature gadget for the Engineer. This blowtorch can repair damaged friendly vehicles and equipment. It can also be used to inflict damage on enemy vehicles, buildings, or other deployed gear.
Guided Anti-Air StingerA lock-on launcher specifically designed to take down enemy aircraft like helicopters and jets. Use it to clear the skies and protect your team from aerial threats.
Motion Sensor MineA deployable anti-personnel mine that detects enemy movement. When an enemy gets too close, the mine will detonate, dealing damage and often eliminating them.
Unguided RPGA classic rocket launcher that fires a straight-line projectile. This is your go-to gadget for dealing high damage to enemy tanks, APCs, or other armored vehicles.

Support Class

The Support class is the heart of a team, focusing on sustaining the fight through resupply and revival. Their gadgets allow them to play a crucial role in holding objectives and keeping their teammates in the battle.

GadgetDescription
Supply BagThe signature gadget of the Support class. This deployable bag provides nearby teammates with a continuous supply of ammunition and health regeneration. Place it behind cover to create a safe rally point.
DefibrillatorAn essential tool for any Support player. This gadget allows you to quickly revive any downed ally—not just squadmates. A quick tap revives them with a fraction of their health, while a charged revive brings them back to full health. It can also be used as a melee weapon.
Deployable CoverA small, portable barrier that can be placed on the ground. Use it to create temporary cover in open areas or to fortify an objective, providing protection from enemy fire.

Recon Class

The Recon class is the eyes and ears of the team, specializing in gathering intelligence and eliminating high-value targets from a distance. Their gadgets are all about information and strategic positioning, allowing them to support their squad without being on the frontlines.

GadgetDescription
Motion SensorThe signature gadget for the Recon. This throwable device detects and marks enemy movement within a set radius, revealing their position on your team's minimap. It's a key tool for warning your team of flanking enemies.
Demolition ChargeA throwable explosive that can be detonated remotely. It's perfect for destroying buildings, vehicles, or for setting traps in high-traffic areas.
Re-deploy BeaconA beacon that you can deploy in a strategic location. It allows your entire squad to spawn directly at the beacon's location, enabling quick flanks or a rapid return to the objective.
