In Avowed's Shatterscarp region, treasure maps lead to valuable loot. This guide focuses on the Dead Man's Mail treasure, a challenging but worthwhile acquisition.

Locating the Dead Man's Mail Treasure Map:

The treasure map is located deep within Shatterscarp, near the Great Sand Sea. It's recommended to have high-tier gear before venturing into this area, as it's populated by strong enemies.

Great Sand Sea: Look for a large gap between two rock formations on the right side of the area labeled "Great Sand Sea" on your map.

Skeleton Camp: The map is found on a skeleton within a small camp at the bottom of this gap. The skeleton is lying on a mattress.

Avowed: Where To Find Dead Man's Mail Treasure

You can actually bypass finding the map altogether and go directly to the treasure.

Shark's Teeth Area: The treasure chest is located north of the Great Sand Sea, in the Shark's Teeth area of the map.

Tago's Tower Beacon: Fast travel to the Tago's Tower beacon.

Secluded Building: Look for a secluded building on the northern wall of the Shark's Teeth area.

Broken Pillar: Climb a broken pillar to reach the upper level of the building.

Treasure Chest: The treasure chest is on the upper level of the building.

Lockpicks: You will need three lockpicks to open the chest.

Necropants: Inside thechest, you'll find the Necropants armor, which has the special abilityto summon a spectre to fight alongside you in combat.
