The hunt for the elusive Fireball Burner is a common challenge for Raiders, primarily because this essential item can't be crafted at your home base in Speranza. Unlike standard gear, you need to venture into the field and take it directly from the enemy.This guide will walk you through exactly where to find Fireball Burners and how to use them to clear your objectives efficiently.

Why You Need Fireball Burners

Before we dive into the hunt, let's clarify why this item is so important. The Fireball Burner is crucial for two key reasons:

Quest Completion: It is the mandatory weapon for completing Apollo's "What Goes Around" quest.

Progression: You need a significant number of them (eight, to be exact) to advance your Refiner to Level II, a key upgrade for endgame crafting.

Where to Farm Fireball Burners

The only way to get a Fireball Burner is by looting it from a specific ARC enemy: the Fireball. These are spherical, ground-based robots that patrol the interior corridors of maps, relentlessly spewing fire at anyone who gets too close.Your best bet for consistent farming is on the starting Dam Battlegrounds map. Focus your search on the interior hallways of these key locations:

• Primary Facility
• Control Tower
• Research & Administration
• Testing Annex

Pro-Tip: From our experience, the lower-level corridors of the Primary Facility are a hotspot. Fireballs seem to have a very high spawn rate here, making it a reliable farming route.

How to Get the Loot

Destroying a Fireball is straightforward—use any weapon in your arsenal, fromassault rifles to grenades. Once it's down, approach the wreckage andsearch it for loot.

• Drop Rate: The drop is not 100% guaranteed, but most Fireballs will yield at least one Burner.
• Beware of Duds: Occasionally, you might find a "Broken Fireball Burner." This is a useless item for your quest, so just recycle it.

Important Note: The game labels the Fireball Burner as a green, recyclable item, whichcan be misleading. Don't be fooled—this is actually a throwable weapon!To use it, simply drag it to a Quick Use slot. You can then equip itusing your radial menu (default key Q on PC) and throw it just like a grenade.

Completing the "What Goes Around" Quest

Now for the main event: using your hard-earned Fireball Burner to complete Apollo's task. The objective is simple: destroy any ARC enemy using the Burner.

For the easiest and most reliable completion, we recommend this strategy:

Choose a Ground Target: While you can try to hit a flying Wasp, it's much easier to aim at aslower ground enemy like a Pop, Tick, or even another Fireball.

Weaken Your Foe: Don't rely on the Burner alone to secure the kill. First, shoot your target a few times to lower its health significantly.

Execute with Fire: Once the enemy is weakened, switch to your Fireball Burner and finish it off with a well-aimed throw.

A successful kill will trigger an on-screen notification. After that,simply return to Apollo in Speranza to claim your reward, which includes the stylish Cans backpack cosmetic, Blaze Grenades, and Noisemakers.
