How to Complete Water Troubles Quest in Arc Raiders

While the objective itself is simple, navigating the Dam Battlegrounds map to find the specific location can be a challenge. This comprehensive guide will provide a clear, step-by-step walkthrough to help you efficiently complete the Water Troubles quest, secure your extraction, and claim your valuable rewards.

Step 1: Preparing for the Quest

Before you drop into the action, note that the Water Troubles quest takes place exclusively on the Dam Battlegrounds map. To complete it without risk, consider using a Free Loadout. This allows you to keep your personal gear safe while you focus on the mission objectives.

Step 2: Locating the Flood Access Tunnels

Your primary goal is to find the Flood Access Tunnels. The most reliable landmark to head for is the Red Lakes Balcony, situated in the central area of the map near the prominent Control Tower.

• From the Balcony: If you spawn or find yourself on the Red Lakes Balcony, look for one of the ladders leading down to the ground level.
• From Ground Level: If you are already below, navigate to the northwest section relative to the balcony. You are looking for a concrete tunnel entrance that you can climb up into. It is not a hidden path, but it can be easily missed if you're not looking carefully in the right area.

Step 3: Sampling the Water

Once you successfully enter the Flood Access Tunnel, the hard part is over. Your objective now is to collect a water sample.

• Do not overcomplicate this step. There is no need to use the zipline or venture deeper into the tunnels.
• Directly in front of you as you enter, you will see a large pipe submerged in polluted water.
• Simply approach the water near this pipe and interact with it to take your sample. This will immediately mark the quest as complete.

Step 4: Extraction and Looting Opportunities

With the quest objective checked off, your new mission is to survive andextract. The nearest extraction point is often located close to the Testing Annex.

• Smart Looting: Before you extract, you have a prime opportunity for loot. The nearby Control Tower and Research & Development (R&D) buildings are excellent locations to scavenge for high-value items.R&D, in particular, is known for containing medical supplies andrare trinkets that can be sold for a significant profit back in thelobby.
• Safe Extraction: Extraction points are high-risk zones. Be prepared for patrolling ARCmachines like Wasps or Hornets. Use the environment to youradvantage—hide inside buildings or within dense bushes while you waitfor the elevator to arrive. Patience is key to a successfulexfiltration.

Step 5: Claiming Your Rewards from Celeste

After a successful extraction, return to the main menu. Navigate to the Vendors tab and find Celeste to claim your well-earned rewards for completing the Water Troubles quest. You will receive:

• Mechanical Components x3
• Simple Gun Parts x3
• Steel Spring x3
