Utility is vital in Age of Wonders 4, as it allows you to control the battlefield and gain an advantage over your opponents. Mind Traits are the most important when it comes to utility. The Elfkin and Halfling races have the best default Mind Traits, making them excellent choices for utility.

The Elfkin have high Intelligence and Charm, making them effective at casting spells and diplomacy.
