Abyssus How to Unlock the Sharp Weapon in Abyssus

The Disc Thrower, officially known as the "Sharp Weapon," is a highly sought-after weapon in Abyssus. Unlike other weapons that are unlocked through the standard progression system, the Disc Thrower requires players to complete a secret, hidden puzzle. Many players miss this opportunity, but with the right knowledge, you can add this powerful weapon to your permanent arsenal.

What the Sharp Weapon Does

The Disc Thrower is a unique and powerful weapon. Its primary fire launches a spinning disc that deals damage to enemies and then returns to the player, which can hit additional targets on its way back. This makes it an excellent choice for clearing rooms.The weapon's true potential is revealed through its upgrades, which can include:

• Arcing Lightning: Discs can chain lightning to nearby enemies.
• Explosions: Discs detonate upon impact, dealing area-of-effect damage.

The secondary fire allows you to launch three discs at once, turning the weapon into a tool of pure destruction. Due to its high damage output and unique mechanics, the Disc Thrower is best suited for players who have a good grasp of the game's combat.

How to Unlock the Sharp Weapon

The Disc Thrower is unlocked by completing a hidden crystal puzzle in Act 2, Stage 4 (Depth 8), after you have defeated the boss of that area.

After defeating the boss, you will see a locked red door covered in mysterious symbols. To open this door, you must locate and destroy four hidden glowing red crystals that are scattered throughout the room.

• Crystal 1: Look to the left of the locked door. The first crystal is located inside a grated area.
• Crystal 2: Walk to the right side of the small pond in the room. The second crystal is located inside the grating there.
• Crystal 3: Near the top of the room, just before the exit, you will find a vertical grating. The third crystal is hidden inside.
• Crystal 4: Look directly in front of the locked door, in the upper-right section. The final crystal is located within the grating.

You can shoot the crystals in any order. Once all four have been destroyed, the red door will unlock. Go through the newly opened tunnel, and youwill find the Disc Thrower resting on the ground near a corpse and ajournal. Interacting with the weapon will add it to your collectionpermanently.
