This event is called The Supervision of Friendship and within it you will find different challenges, but your main objective will be to accompany a group of Bangboos to Hallow and although it may seem like something quite simple, you should not trust yourself, since during the fifth day you will have to help Eous and his friends catch the golden and flat Bangboos. Although everything may seem quite confusing, don't worry, as in this guide we explain everything you need to do to complete this mission, so read on and find out.
Zenless Zone Zero: How to Solve Proxy Parent: Lucky Day Puzzle
Equipment:
- 3,000 Gear Coins
- Special Bait Tool (provided by Luckyboo)
Puzzle 1: Luring Sumoboo to Safety
- 1. Distraction: Employ Gear Coins as bait to lure the Golden Bangboo away from Sumoboo.
- 2. Strategic Path: Place baits in a clockwise direction, ensuring the Golden Bangboo remains out of your path.
- 3. Rescue: Once the Golden Bangboo is distracted, proceed to Sumoboo's location and secure their safety.
Puzzle 2: Freeing Avocaboo
- 1. Luring Maneuver: Utilize Gear Coins to strategically guide the Golden Bangboo towards the left side of the area.
- 2. Switch Activation: As the Golden Bangboo is lured away, locate and activate the red switch situated behind it. This action will free Avocaboo.
- 3. Escape Route: Employ remaining Gear Coins to distract the Golden Bangboo and create a safe path towards the exit.
Puzzle 3: Evading Double Trouble
Left Side:
- 1. Strategic Baiting: Place three Gear Coins on the left side, initiating from the leftmost TV. This sequence prevents getting trapped.
- 2. Sharkboo's Rescue: Once the path is clear, proceed to the left and liberate Sharkboo. Additionally, replenish your Gear Coin supply at the designated station.
Secret Area (Optional):
- 1. Accessing the Hidden Passage: Locate and activate the red switch and Gear Coin Station on the right side. This action reveals a hidden passage leading to a secret room.
- 2. Penguinboo's Rescue: Within the secret room, save Penguinboo and claim the rewards from two treasure chests.
- 3. Strategic Bait Placement: Due to the confined space, utilize creative bait placement to navigate. Start by placing the first bait in the highest TV room, followed by one near the Golden Bangboo. The third bait should be positioned in the center. Once the Golden Bangboo is distracted, dash towards Penguinboo.
Right Side:
- 1. Golden Bangboo Diversion: Employ four Gear Coins strategically to distract the second Golden Bangboo and reach the red switch and Gear Coin Station.
Final Stretch:
- 1. Golden Bangboo Evasion: Utilize baits to divert the first Golden Bangboo and create a safe path to the exit. Begin by placing a bait near the Golden Bangboo, followed by another on the top right. Finally, place the third bait above the second one to create a clear path.
Final Encounter:
Engage in combat against successive waves of Ethereals and the wild Bangboos (Golden and Platinum). While not exceptionally challenging, the Bangboos can pose a moderate threat.
Additional Notes:
- Placing the sixth bait on the red switch won't reactivate the gate.
- Utilize the quick path function to swiftly navigate during moments when the Golden Bangboos are distracted.
- Entering the secret room is optional, but offers additional rewards (Penguinboo rescue and treasure chests).
