To improve your data bank, you must capture new echoes or echoes of higher rarity than the ones you already have. How to level up Data Bank in Wuthering Waves?

Within the Data Bank menu, the Echo Gallery is your best friend to improve the Data Bank. Every Wuthering Waves echo and highest rarity you have ever purchased can be viewed in the Gallery. To choose which echoes to focus on, select them and then press the Track button to your nearest location on the map. I would recommend filtering the Echo Gallery list to show the Echoes with the lowest collection progress at the top and then move down. Check the highest available drop rarity in the data bank level description. After capturing enough echoes and repeatedly leveling up your data bank, you will have access to the next echo rarity. To capture all five-star echoes, the process must be repeated.

Discover new echoes using data mixing.

To create new Echoes from old ones, use the data merge from the data bank menu when you reach level 15. Each new Echo you discover this way is added to your data bank as if you had found them in the wild or in a Tacet field. This works best if you have several two- and three-star Echoes saved up, as you're guaranteed to get at least one four-star Echo from Merge at level 15.

Comprehensive milestones

Due to the low required rarity drop percentage, it is difficult to quickly find new echoes at certain data bank levels. In that case, focus your attention on completing the objectives set out in your guide. Each stage of Milestones has data bank experience as a reward. As you complete their tasks, such as completing a Forgery Challenge, you'll likely discover some new Echoes to increase your level.
