Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, a soul-like game developed by Leenzee, offers a wide variety of weapon types, from longswords and axes to spears and dual blades. Upgrading your weapon is critical for success, as it significantly enhances your combat abilities and allows you to defeat stronger enemies and bosses.While you can upgrade your weapon's mastery up to +9 using common materials like Faint Red Feather, Brilliant Red Feather, and Radiant Red Feather, pushing a weapon to its ultimate level of +10 requires a rare and valuable item: the Lustrous Red Feather. This final upgrade must be performed at the Impetus Repository. Given its importance, the Lustrous Red Feather is a late-game resource, and you can only find a limited number of them in a single playthrough.

How to Find Lustrous Red Feather in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

There are two known locations where you can acquire a Lustrous Red Feather.

Lustrous Red Feather #1

This feather is obtained by trading with a specific NPC after progressing to the final region of the game.

Enter the Bo Capital: After defeating the final boss of the fourth region, you will be transported to the Bo Capital.

Find the Panda NPC: Use a nearby shrine to teleport back to the Annalum area. From the main courtyard, follow a wooden walkway to find the Panda NPC.

Trade Bamboo Shoots: Interact with the Panda. In its inventory, you will find the Lustrous Red Feather available for purchase. The item costs 5 Bamboo Shoots. It's highly recommended to save these rare currency items for this specific purchase if you are planning to fully upgrade a weapon to +10.

Lustrous Red Feather #2

The second Lustrous Red Feather can be found by exploring a specific area within the Bo Capital.

Go to the Capital Entrance Shrine: Teleport or travel to the Capital Entrance Shrine within the Bo Capital region.

Navigate the Spine Bridge: Enter the cave entrance from the shrine and continue along a pathway with a spine bridge.

Take the Elevator: You will eventually find an elevator-like mechanism. Take it down to the ground level.

Find the Glowing Tree: On the ground level, there is a prominent glowing white tree in the middle of the area.

Follow the White Branch: Look for a white branch extending from this tree and follow the path it creates.

Claim the Feather: The Lustrous Red Feather will be waiting for you to pick up at the top of the tree, allowing you to secure your second of these rare upgrade materials.
