Located within Kaifeng City, this quest tasks you with disrupting the sinister Xuanyuan Cult. We break down both the direct combat and stealth approaches, detailing every step and reward to ensure your success.

Locating the Palace of Supreme Oneness

Your journey begins in the northwestern district of Kaifeng City. The Palace of Supreme Oneness is a key landmark in this area. To enter, look for a building on the left side of the compound and use your grappling hook to reach a high windowsill. Inside, descend the stairs past an NPC named Mu Hao to find Yu Changfeng, a cult member who presents you with two distinct paths to achieve your goal.

Method 1: The Direct Assault

If you prefer a head-on challenge, select the "Barge in directly" dialogue option. This method immediately transports you to the cult's underground lair, where you must face 14 enemies in a demanding combat encounter. While straightforward, this path tests your martial prowess and is recommended for players confident in their fighting skills.

Method 2: The Stealthy Infiltration (Recommended)

For a more cunning approach, choose "Sneak in to cause chaos." This method is a puzzle in itself, requiring preparation and skill but bypassing the major battle.Step 1: Acquire the Disguise
First, you must obtain a cult member's likeness. Return to the upper floor and find Mu Hao. Use the game's photo-capture mechanic when the mask icon appears to take his portrait. Be patient, as his large straw hat can obstruct the shot. A "Portrait Completed" notification confirms success.Step 2: Master the Disguise Skill
To use the portrait, you must have the Disguise skill unlocked and upgraded to Level 2. If you haven't already, complete the "Disguise: Veil of Love" side quest by speaking to Zhuang Wuyan in the Fairgrounds, located in southeastern Kaifeng City.

Step 3: Infiltrate the Ceremony
With the skill ready, visit Zhuang Wuyan and select Mu Hao under the "Put on a disguise" option. Now transformed, return to Yu Changfeng at thePalace and choose the sneak-in option. You will be teleported into theheart of the ritual.

Step 4: Secure the Pendant
Inside, speak with the Unbound Sect leader. After a brief cutscene, the coveted pendant will be placed on the altar. With your disguise preventingsuspicion, simply walk over and claim it. This triggers a scene wherethe cult's ceremony fails and its members disperse in panic.
