Phase 1: Securing the Buddhist Light Jade

Your journey begins during the main campaign. You must progress through the story until you reach the Bodhi Sea area. Here, your objective is to locate and activate three hidden drums by carefully listening for their audio cues. Successfully completing this section leads to a confrontation with Ye Wanshan. Defeating this foe rewards you with the first half of the Buddhist Light Jade.Continue following the main story to the Palace of Annals. After finishing the subsequent campaign mission and triumphing over the final boss of that segment, you will be granted the second half of the Buddhist Light Jade, completing the artifact.

Phase 2: Gaining Access to the Secret Tower

With both jade halves in your possession, travel to Halo Peak and locate the tall tower. Scale this structure to its summit. Timing is critical here: you must place the completed Buddhist Light Jade on the altar precisely during the Wu Hour (in-game noon, or 12:00). This ritual causes a hidden door to materialize at the tower's base.Enter the newly opened passage and proceed inside. Look for an investigation point on your right; interacting with it will cause a section of the floor to open, allowing you to descend into the mysterious underground chambers below.

Phase 3: Navigating the Puzzle Chambers

The underground area presents a series of light-based puzzles that require the Meridian Touch ability.

• First Puzzle Room: Your goal is to use Meridian Touch to rotate a statue until the beam of light it emits aligns perfectly with a specific hole in the wall. Thiswill unlock the path forward.
• Second Puzzle Room & Descent: The next chamber requires you to manipulate multiple statues to direct a light beam into a designated point, creating a new exit. As youprogress, you will crawl under debris, trigger a floor collapse, andsurvive an ambush after inspecting a corpse. When the path forks, always take the left route.

You will eventually enter a vast room featuring a Hero’s Tomb on theleft—activate it to set your respawn point. Prepare for a perilousplatforming section as you descend a massive, hollow tower. Navigatethin beams and ropes, being ready for a platform collapse that willtrigger falling rocks and obstructed paths. Stay agile to survive thedescent.

At the bottom, activate the fast travel point for convenience. One final statueawaits; use Meridian Touch to direct its light beam at the exit door.

Phase 4: The Hidden Boss and the Secret to Free Morph

Beyond the final door lies a formidable secret boss, widely considered one ofthe toughest early-game challenges. However, a common mistake is tobelieve that simply defeating this boss grants you Free Morph. It doesnot; it only unlocks the Yaksha Rush skill.

To earn Free Morph, you must return and challenge the boss a second time.

Here is the crucial secret:

Return to the boss arena and initiate the fight again.

Progress through Stage 1 of the battle as you normally would.

In Stage 2, pay close attention to the boss's health bar. A new Eye Icon will appear beside it.

Your primary objective is no longer just to win. You must fill the Eye Meter before you deliver the final blow to the boss.

Once the meter is completely full, you can finish the fight. Upon victory,you will finally be rewarded with the coveted Free Morph Mystic Skill.
