This poignant side-quest is a key part of the Tier III challenges within the larger One Leaf, One Life event, and many travelers find themselves halted while searching for a crucial item: the Blush (also referred to as Rouge). Our comprehensive walkthrough will guide you through every step, from starting the quest to using your mystical arts to retrieve the item and provide a grieving husband with closure.

Initiating the Tearless Farewell Quest

Your journey begins in the bustling capital of Kaifeng. Navigate to the southwestern part of the South Gate Avenue district, specifically the Pier. Here, you will overhear a critical conversation between two women who are gossiping about a local man named Zhong Wenping. They accuse him of having an affair and claim to have hidden proof—a container of Blush—within his stall.After listening to their slander, approach Zhong Wenping himself. He is located just across the way, sitting despondently in his stall and mourning his late wife, Zhou Juan. Speak with him, and you will learn that the Blush was a cherished possession of his deceased spouse, directly contradicting the women's malicious claims.

Locating the Elusive Blush: A Test of Your Skills

The key to progressing is retrieving the Blush. Contrary to what you might expect, you don't need to search his stall. The women at the pier have it in their possession! This is where your supernatural abilities become essential.

Activate Windsense: Stand near the two women and press V to activate your Windsense. This will highlight the interactive worldand reveal which of the two is holding the Blush (it's the woman on theleft).

Use Celestial Seize: With your target identified, activate the Celestial Seize mystic art. Aim at the glowing item on her and press F to deftly retrieve the Blush without causing a scene.

Completing the Quest and Offering Solace

With the Blush safely in your inventory, return to Zhong Wenping. Interactwith him and select the "Give" option, which will now have a purpleindicator, to hand over his wife's keepsake.

The final step requires empathy, not action. After a brief cutscene, speak with him again. He will begin to share his story.

• First, choose the bottom dialogue option: "Listen to him." Allow him to express his grief without interruption.
• Finally, select the top option: "Console." Offering this comfort will conclude the conversation.

Zhong Wenping will express his heartfelt gratitude for your help in clearinghis name and honoring his wife's memory. With this, the TearlessFarewell quest will be marked complete, allowing you to continue youradventures through the One Leaf, One Life event in Where Winds Meet.
