Update Windows

  • Open Settings (Windows key + I).
  • Proceed to Update & Security.
  • Check for updates; if available, download and install them.

Repair Game Files


The reason may be that your game files have become corrupted, leading to the VAN9003 error. There might be a possibility that this problem will go by repairing them:

  • Run the Riot Client.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Click the "Hero" section.
  • Click "Repair" and follow the instructions.

 

Run Valorant in Compatibility Mode



  • Valorant running in compatibility mode frequently resolves problems where the game has differences with your operating system .
  • Right click on the icon of Valorant.
  • Click "Properties."
  • Under the "Compatibility" tab.
  • Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select a past Windows version. Apply changes.


 Activate Safe Boot



Secure Boot is a feature aimed to block any unauthorized loading of software during system boot. Enabling it might resolve the VAN9003 error:

  • 1. Shut down your computer, turn it back on, and press the key that opens BIOS (usually F2, F12, or Del).
  • 2. Use the spacebar to select Secure Boot On.
  • 3. Save and Exit Settings.


Enable TPM 2.0



TPM 2.0 is a hardware security module Vanguard requires basically. Just make sure it's enabled. 

  • Enter BIOS;
  • Under the "Advanced" tab, select the "Trusted Computing" option.
  • Enable "Device Security Support". Save changes and exit BIOS. 


Reinstall Vanguard 



If none of the above works, reinstalling Vanguard may fix the underlying issues: Uninstall Vanguard from Control Panel. Restart your computer. Launch Valorant; it should prompt you to reinstall Vanguard. Follow these steps on the screen. Once the installation is done, restart your computer.
