V Rising: How to delete save files - Ultimate Guide

What are the save files in V Rising?

These are basically the game files that you have saved while playing. It is possible that for some reason we make a mistake in a game or for any other reason, we stop accessing certain games, so in these cases it is better to delete them than to have them there taking up unnecessary space. That is why we will tell you how to delete saved files below.

How to delete save files in V Rising?

To delete local save files you will have to go to the following path: C:/users/(profile name)/AppData/LocalLow/Stunlock Studios/VRising/Saves/ > verify the file you want to delete by checking its last "update" time to delete the correct file > next time you want to resume you will see the save has a red cross to delete in game as it will not load from the main menu.

Being on your desktop you will have to press Win E > select "This PC" > access the Local Disk (C:) to find the saved files > select Users > click on your Username > search for AppData. In case the latter does not appear, you will have to press the Alt key in File Explorer (for Windows 11 it should be visible in the top bar) > go to View > Show and make sure that Hidden items is enabled.

Then you will have to go to LocalLow > access the Stunlock Studios folder, from the AppData menu. The save data will be in the folder with the name of the game, under Save. Server configuration defaults may also be available here.

There are a total of 14 autosave directories, the session ID file, and more here. So you can delete your files from here, making sure you delete the correct file.
