- Complete Dragon Roost Cavern: You must finish the Dragon Roost Island dungeon and defeat the boss.
- Learn the Wind's Requiem: After the dungeon, the Great Valoo will teach you this crucial melody. You will need your Wind Waker baton to conduct it.

Step-by-Step Guide to Activate the Ferris Wheel
Once you have the Wind's Requiem, head back to Windfall Island and follow these steps.
1. Find the Hidden Control Panel
Make your way to the building that houses the "Squid Hunt" mini-game. Instead of going inside, head around the back of the building. You will find a ladder leading up to a small, secluded platform with a unique control panel.
2. Conduct the Wind's Requiem
Stand in front of the panel and equip your Wind Waker. Play the Wind's Requiem (Up, Down, Right). A cutscene will confirm that you have successfully changed the wind direction to blow toward the north.
3. Step on the Activation Switch
After the wind begins to blow, turn around and step onto the large, circularpanel on the platform. This is the final switch that engages the FerrisWheel's gears, setting it into motion.
4. Take a Ride!
Now for the fun part! To actually ride the wheel, you must enter the Squid Hunt building. Go up to the second floor, and you'll find you can now hop into one ofthe passing gondolas. Enjoy the view as the wheel carries you to new,previously inaccessible areas.

- How to Reach: The top of the Squid Hunt building is now accessible. You can eitherclimb the exterior vines or use the Ferris Wheel to get there.
- What to Do: Inside the lighthouse, you'll find an unlit torch. Use a Fire Arrow to ignite it.
- Rewards:
- Heart Piece from Kreeb: The man who wanted the lighthouse lit will gratefully give you a Piece of Heart.
- Second Heart Piece: A treasure chest containing another Piece of Heart will appear on a small, nearby island.

- How to Reach: Ride the Ferris Wheel gondola to its highest point. As it begins itsdescent on the far side, leap off onto the roof of the adjacentbuilding. From there, you can drop down onto the porch of the secondfloor of Lenzo's Pictograph Gallery.

- Treasure Chart #29: Found in a chest inside.
