How to emote in The First Descendant?

To use emojis, you must press the Ring button (L key by default) to display the ring emoji. From there, simply select the gesture you want to use and your character will perform it. Now you can perform a conga serenade for your friends. But this is only the beginning.

How to equip the Ring with new symbols

To use the new emotes on rings, open the Inventory screen (I press the key by default) and select the Customize category. From there, select "Emotions" (bottom right). You will be brought to the screen with the Ring emoji. You can now equip and unequip any emoji of your choice.

How to remap emoji keys

If you want to remap the gesture key (and you probably should, since it's located too far away on the keyboard), press the Esc key to open the game menu and select Options. From there, select "Keyboard and Mouse" (this is the third option from the left). Scroll down the keys until you find "Call Menu." No, I don't understand one or the other. Why can't they just call it an "Emotion" button? Press and hold the "R" key when the Call Menu button is selected to switch to another key. I recommend "T", "Y" or one of the number keys.
