Check out our guide on how to get heat resistance in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom! With our help, you can explore the vast and varied world.

Gamers who have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may be familiar with the challenges that come with exploring the vast and varied world of Hyrule. One of the biggest challenges players face is traversing through hot environments. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can be a challenging game when it comes to heat resistance, but fear not, there are ways to navigate the heat with ease. In this blog post, we will delve into two ways to obtain heat resistance: cooking heat-resistant dishes and obtaining heat-resistant armor.

Option 1: Cooking Heat-Resistant Dishes

Cooking heat-resistant dishes is one way to obtain heat resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. There are several ingredients you can use to create these dishes, including:

  • Hyrule Bass
  •  Chillshroom
  •  Sunshroom
  •  Sizzlefin Trout
  •  Summerwing Butterfly
  •  Warm Darner
  •  Fireproof Lizard

To cook a heat-resistant dish, you'll need to gather the ingredients and cook them together. The best way to cook them is to use an open flame, such as a cooking pot or campfire. Simply add the ingredients to the cooking pot and wait for the dish to cook. Once it's ready, you'll receive a buff that will provide heat resistance for a set period of time.

The duration of the buff will depend on the dish and the ingredients used. For example, cooking a dish with Hyrule Bass and Chillshroom will provide a heat resistance buff for 5 minutes and 30 seconds. On the other hand, cooking a dish with Sizzlefin Trout and Sunshroom will provide a heat resistance buff for 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

Option 2: Obtaining Heat-Resistant Armor

Another way to obtain heat resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is by obtaining heat-resistant armor. The best heat-resistant armor available is the Desert Voe Armor, which you can buy from the Kara-Kara Bazaar. To reach the Kara-Kara Bazaar, head to the Gerudo Desert and follow the main road until you reach the bazaar.

The Desert Voe Armor set consists of three pieces: the Desert Voe Spaulder, Desert Voe Headband, and Desert Voe Trousers. Each piece of armor costs 600 Rupees, so you'll need to farm Rupees if you don't have enough. One way to farm Rupees is by completing side quests, selling items, or defeating enemies and selling their drops.

The Desert Voe Armor provides a heat resistance buff that is superior to the heat-resistant dishes. When wearing the full set, you'll receive a heat resistance buff for an unlimited amount of time. Additionally, the armor provides defense, making it easier to survive in the heat.

With these two options in mind, you can now obtain heat resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Cooking heat-resistant dishes is a great option if you don't have enough Rupees to buy the Desert Voe Armor. However, if you have the funds, the Desert Voe Armor is the better option as it provides a superior heat resistance buff and defense. Regardless of which option you choose, you'll be able to navigate through the heat with ease and explore all that Hyrule has to offer.
