Locating Dinraal
Before we get into the nitty-gritty of collecting the Shard, we must first locate Dinraal. Dinraal is one of the three dragons in the game, and it can be found flying around various locations in Hyrule. However, unlike the other dragons, Dinraal does not have a specific location or time of emergence. Instead, it mainly arises at night and doesn't pass through major settlements.
To increase your chances of encountering Dinraal, head to the coordinates (-0029, 2928, 0212). This location is a logical waiting point for Dinraal and is close to Drenan Highlands Chasm. Keep in mind that Dinraal flies around the entire region, so don't be discouraged if you don't see it right away. Be patient and keep an eye out for its glowing red scales in the sky.
Collecting the Shard
Once you've located Dinraal, it's time to collect the Shard of Dinraal's Fang. To do this, you'll need to grab your glider and fly toward Dinraal's mouth from a high point. It's important to note that you need to shoot an arrow into Dinraal's fang to get the Shard. Therefore, make sure that Dinraal's mouth is open when you shoot the arrow; otherwise, you won't get the desired result.
It's also worth mentioning that Dinraal is a massive dragon, and shooting an arrow into its fang is no easy feat. It requires precision and timing. Therefore, we recommend practicing your aim before attempting to collect the Shard.
