Guide to learn how to chat on Team Fortress 2

For those who are unfamiliar with this game, then let me give you a brief introduction:

Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer game for PC of shooting where you will have to group in teams for their later game. It may sound a bit obvious but if you want to be successful in the game, it is your duty to communicate with your teammates and other players in order to strategize. Because we have created this guide to help you.

How to chat on Team Fortress 2?

You may find yourself using the default game controls, if so, all you need to do to chat with your teammates is press the "U" key.

After this, enter your message and hit Enter to send the message.

The same applies if you are looking to write a message intended for everyone, except instead of pressing "U", you will instead press "Y".

In this type of game, it is common to hear or read people insulting another, so it is important to know that any offensive or abusive message that you send to your teammates could be reported and result in a ban.

If you want to use Voicemail, how to do it?

If you are willing to talk for a moment in the game, you just have to hold down the V key while talking. Release the "V" key when you are done and the message will be sent.

It may seem obvious, but remember that you will need to have a microphone of some kind plugged in and ready to go on your PC or laptop to use voice chat. Most laptops have a built-in microphone, so it shouldn't be a problem for most gamers these days.

Now that you know how to chat and talk in Team Fortress 2 you will be able to maintain fluid communication with your team and who knows, in the long run you make a good friendship.
