How To Increase Crew Capacity in Steamworld Heist 2
To have more personnel, you will need Bunk Bed Sub Upgrades. These particular upgrades become available as you progress through the in-game storyline. Normally, they are offered for sale at a bar immediately after the completion of some big missions. You will be notified once these upgrades are available.
While these sub upgrades require Fragments to unlock, they are very important investments in your team's growth. Prioritize getting them as soon as possible. Once you have increased the capacity of your crew, you will be given new recruit potentials. These recruitment opportunities come with the story milestones that unlocked the sub upgrades. One of the key factors in completing this task is to create a full crew so as to optimize Reputation gain and any other advanced rewards. While the crew members have variable strengths, every member proves to be useful in completing daily missions. However, it is very important to know that each of the crewmates can only undertake one mission per day, and Reputation earned cannot be saved for later use. The more crew members there are, the more missions a player is able to accomplish at the same time.
Further on, missions can be repeatedly passed to farm Reputation. Here it must be noted that, unlike Reputation, rewards for passing missions are the same both for first-time players and replays. There are dual reasons to run this kind of gameplay: pumping Reputation and leveling up crew members.
