If you would like to speed up your progress in Star Wars Outlaws and get good equipment, Player Personal Requests with the Merchant are excellent. These are usually simple and easy tasks that will allow you to get upgrades, faddish cosmetics, and many other important items to make your hero so much stronger.
The game can be quite leading in the early parts of this, how to go about unlocking Merchant Personal Requests is a little less clear. To set out on this quest for more possibility from merchants, just strike up conversation with them across the galaxy. While talking to them, keep an ear out, because, from time to time, Merchants will chatter about personal favors that they require help with.
Just take on a mission once you spot a Merchant Personal Request and complete it as directed, where you will be given lots of rare items, worth a fortune in ensuring the hero achieves improved gameplay. Many of these customizations are unlocked through such requests and powerful equipment that every hero needs.
How to unlock Requests at merchant in Star Wars Outlaws?
To unlock the "I Know Someone" ability, you will need to complete two tasks:
Meet six different merchants. This can easily be done by exploring the city of Mirogana and speaking with the various merchants that you find. Sometimes, you can also find merchants outside the city, in the open world.
- Pay 1000 credits to merchants. Credit may be spent with one or more merchants such that the total amount of money spent is at least 1000 credits. You can buy anything you want with the merchants, regardless of whether you will need the item for which you used credit.
- Once you have done these, the "I Know Someone" ability will be unlocked; on PC you can do this by pressing Spacebar, and on PlayStation you can do it by pressing X. This also unlocks merchant Requests-special missions that you can play to be rewarded.
- To check on your progress with the unlock, hit the menu, select the Abilities tab, choose Bram, then scroll all the way to the far right for the "I Know Someone" ability. On the ability card, it'll let you know how many merchants you've encountered and how much credit you've spent. It's going to be six unique merchants and 1000 credit spent that you'll need to unlock the ability.
How to find and finish Requests in Star Wars: Outlaws?
Requests in Star Wars Outlaws are one of the best ways to earn more rewards and advance with your character. To find and complete Requests, follow these steps:
- See a Merchant: Find a merchant in any city or town. Merchants are usually found in busy marketplaces or near certain points of interest.
- Open Merchant Menu: Click the merchant to open up their menu of available goods and services, including items for sale and services to be provided. Select Requests: Scroll down the presented menu and select the option "Requests." A list of all the available Requests-each with their specific requirements and rewards-will open up.
- Review Available Requests: Review the list of Requests and find those that most closely match your goals and what you are equipped to do. Some of them require specific goods or possessions, while others are less demanding.
- Fulfill a Request: Choose any request, then do the things or conditions that you need to fulfill. Sometimes, it means collecting some materials, sometimes completing certain tasks, sometimes defeating enemies. Voilà-you've got your reward, and it can be everything from highly valued items up to higher reputation.
Tip: Merchants do not always have Requests available. You may want — to check — Available Requests — Reputation tab from the main menu — choose a Syndicate — view the Contents subsection of each Merchant section.
