The Journalist's Stash is located in the northwest part of Zalissya, however getting there could be a bit of a mystery to certain players of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It can still be difficult to get to the Stash, even if you know exactly where it is. In STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, this guide is meant to assist players who may be having trouble reaching the Zalissya Journalist's Stash.
The in-game map features this journalist's stash, which is part of the "Seek, and you shall find" side objective. After completing a few plot missions in the beginning of STALKER 2, players will unlock that side quest, which starts in Zalissya.
How to Get Zalissya Journalist's Stash
The Journalist's Stash may be found in a wooden building in the northwest corner of Zalissya, as shown on the in-game map. Players should head there first. I know most of you have already done this, but I've indicated the building's exact location on the following maps so everything is crystal clear.
Players should proceed to the north external wall of the relevant structure after reaching it. A blue truck awaits STALKER enthusiasts here, and they must climb on it. Since the blue vehicle can only be boarded in two ways, this may be easier said than done.
In particular, survival game enthusiasts can hop onto the truck's roof from the front-left or front-right corner of its bumper. The following steps should be taken by a player who is having difficulty landing on a bumper corner:
- Gather a few steps in front of the truck's headlight on the passenger side.
- Quickly tap jump while holding forward to land on the bumper.
- Instead of holding down the directional pad, players who are still slipping off the bumper should attempt tapping forward and jumping at the same time.
Players can jump onto the truck's hood, then its roof, and eventually the roof of the wooden building containing the Journalist's Stash after getting onto the bumper. If you're a fan of open-world games that pull you into the action, you should head to the western tip of the roof and descend to the elevated platform below. The attic of the building may be accessed by crouching through the rectangular doorway, and the Journalist's Stash, in the form of a blue chest, can be found on the floor by the far wall.
Reaching the roof of the building in STALKER 2 can be a good time for a quick save because falling means death and no progress.
