The Chornobyl Exclusion Zone is the inspiration for the fictional map in Stalker 2, where the player is taken on a hazardous ride through various terrains filled with radiation and swarms of enemies. Dead Frequency is one such task in the game; it becomes available once you've completed Chasing Ghosts.

Well, in the "Moth to a Flame" sub-mission of the Dead Frequency mission in Stalker 2, you are allowed to choose your side, and everything you will be doing thereafter determines how the outcome of such would be. To be able to do this mission quickly in Stalker 2, I have added a tutorial below.

How to complete Dead Frequency mission in Stalker 2?

When you arrive at Camp Icarus, a vigilant soldier will block your path and prevent you from entering. This will trigger the Dead Frequency mission. Go back to the previous mission and give him the authorization you got; he will grudgingly let you through. Enter the compound and head to the central building indicated by the marker.

The above quest, "Moth to a Flame," starts within it now. Go inside the building and head up two levels to a location where a fellow in a white suit is having a conversation with an army captain. The captain—Senkevych—was quite angry since he had found a traitor among his ranks. He leaves now, blaming a man named Kryvenko. The objective now is to destroy psi-antennas.

It is suggested that at this point you proceed to the next room and have an optional discussion with Kryvenko. You should speak with him until the option appears, "I'll get your data." This now makes the mission objective getting the data from the antennas rather than destroying them. You want to avoid selecting "I have more confidence in Senkevych" as this leads to the wrong story path.

Because this will lengthen mission time, as siding with Senkevych requires paying two groups of soldiers a visit to check up on them after the antennas are down. Everything else in the task remains the same save that Senkevych, instead of the doctor, shows up during cutscenes. This page describes the Kryvenko route, which shortens mission time.

Once you have decided upon Kryvenko's scheme, head to all three antennas and extract the information. After all three are complete, head back to Kryvenko in order to explain some of the results.

Kryvenko will then take you through the Saturn Bunker. In it, you will engage in a number of hazardous and hazardous abnormalities.

Once you reach the lower floors using the marked markers, there will be a psi-beacon in a room waiting for you. After checking the beacon, you are supposed to leave the bunker and go back to the main building to speak with Kryvenko.

He will explain that the traitor is a soldier named Shterev and that you can find him at the Echo Station. Dead Frequency will also continue on after this, as well as the submission will complete.

Just follow the marker to the Echo Station; it's not far away. Find Shterev in a room and talk to him. He completely loses his mind, speaking back to your questions as though he were possessed. Be prepared for a fight because he will turn hostile.

Leave, head out and activate the active device. Resist the attacks of the enemies in your wait for the uploading of the device. Afterwards, head back inside to the room where you first met Shterev and use the laptop in that room. The mission is complete.

However, if you choose to side with Senkevych, you'll be sent to the same three psi antennae, but this time to destroy them. Also, when you destroy the antennae, you'll have to visit two more squads of soldiers to see how they're doing, which adds time to the job. Everything else about the task remains unchanged, with the exception that Senkevych, not the doctor, now appears in the cutscenes.

In this sense, knowing how to complete Dead Frequency Mission in Stalker 2, allows another objective in juice and continue to progress.
