How to complete A Sign of Hope side mission in Stalker 2?
Professor Lodochka, who lives in his bunker, will be your first contact when you arrive at the Noontide base in Stalker 2's A Sign of Hope quest. A Sign of Hope is a side quest he will give you after you have spoken to him.What's the objective? Make your way to the very top of the Noontide base to disable an antenna that's emitting harmful Psi radiation. When you encounter Lodochka on the way there, she suggests you end Kvashka's misery. Is that, though, your only option? No, it isn't, actually.
The location and how to get to the antenna in the A Sign of Hope side quest
Leave the bunker and head towards the big Noontide headquarters building once you've accepted the mission. The path to the antenna is as follows:
- Take the straight road from the exit of the bunker, heading towards a roof with stairs in front; go upstairs. Go through the right-hand door after going up the first set of stairs.
- Up and down: Go ahead, go down some stairs, and turn left. You can see some stairs here; they are made of wood.
- Go up: These stairs bring you to another flight. The first door on your right is the one; just go up the stairs.
- To get through the pipe jump, enter through the door and jump onto the middle pipes, then out onto the outer platform. Head back upstairs by passing through the doorway.
- Up on the roof, head upwards until you can see a broken part of the stairs. Turn around and exit the building.
Once you reach Kvashka, you'll see a building with a set of ladders at its center. Go up the stairs to meet Kvashka, the zombie noontider, and head forward toward the ladder and stairs leading up to the antenna.
Once you've reached the antenna, turn it off to shut down the Psi radiation.

Should I Fire My Shotgun? The Kvashka Dilemma
You're confronted with a decision when you encounter Kvashka, the zombie noontider. Professor Lodochka had requested that you kill Kvashha by shooting him in the head so that he would stop suffering. However, Khors will send you a radio message to plead for you to spare him.
- One obvious decision is to follow Lodochka's request and shoot Kvashka. If you head back to him, he'll provide you with a superior detector.
- Alternatively, you may spare Kvashka and talk with him about this at the base. As a form of gratitude, Khors will provide you with 2,600 extra coupons aside from enhancing the detector.
In "A Sign of Hope," what direction would you be heading?
