Stalker 2 mutants are the terrifying babies of the radioactive capabilities of the Zone, which morph humans and other animals into monstrous monsters. These are not harmless wild organisms but rather dangerous monsters with their own set of skills, habits, and ways of attacking. Their persistent presence as a Stalker makes them among the most hazardous obstacles within the game.

All mutants in Stalker 2

 1) Bloodsucker



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:

  • Uses a disguise to blend in with its surroundings.
  • Assaults and depletes life force with paralyzing tentacles.
  • Expert in sneak attacks in low light.


The mutants have a special feature in being able to conceal themselves into the environment, and they generally have the appearance of people turned into zombies. Some of the most dangerous mutants in Stalker 2 because of how quiet they are and attack by ambush. You won't be given much of an opportunity to respond as well since you need to carefully observe every small movement the grass might have.

Second meat


Class: Mammal



Skill Set:

  • Extra fingers and eyeballs.
  • Normally docile, but will attack if threatened.
  • Travels in disorganized groups.


Radiation turned Fleshes, once pigs, into mutants. In packs or if an alpha Flesh is present, they can be very deadly, though they are otherwise docile creatures. If you're not careful, they can overwhelm you with sheer numbers, but the Ram-2 shotgun and other close-range firearms take them down with ease.

3. False Dog



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:

  • Excellent speed and agility.
  • Often found with Blind Dogs, they hunt in packs.
  • Can create multiple illusory versions of itself.


Pseudo dogs are mutated wolves with rotting flesh and increased speed and durability. Due to their pack nature, these creatures are more dangerous than a single Blind Dog. A good strategy to avoid an attack is to move to higher ground.

4-Psy canine

Class: Mammal



Skill Set:

  • Confuses foes with visual and audio hallucinations.
  • More secure than normal Pseudo Dogs.
  • Extremely rare, but occasionally appear in packs.


Compared to Pseudo Dogs, Psy Dogs are a graver danger. They can create hallucinations that blur the line between real and imaginary threats. Beware of them due to their enormous size and increased defenses.

5) Wild Boar

Class: Mammal


Skill Set:


  • Quick charging strike that has the potential to knock you out.
  • Extremely long-lasting and bulletproof.
  • Moves in packs to encircle its victim.


Boar



Even though they are low genetically engineered, boars are a hardened critter. Prepare for leg-breaking as these behemoths charge at you with the all their might. Two heavy-damage rifles, such as M701 Super or Dnipro will come in handy against them while taking them out from far.


Rats and mice



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:


  • Very agile and hardy.
  • Often attack in packs.
  • Fast and difficult to hit.


Mice, rats, and hamsters: small, mutant creatures that are surprisingly good runners and jumpers. They typically appear in basements and other hidden areas beneath the floor. Harmless by themselves but daunting by the dozen.


Undead



Creature type: humanoid



Abilities:


  • Can get back up after a fall unless shot in the head
  • Weak and uncoordinated, no weapons only using hands.


Zombies are mutant humans who have lost all contact with reality. They shuffle along and are only able to attack at close quarters. The fact that they can get back up again makes them a real pain to handle in large numbers, but one shot to the head will usually drop them.


A snork



Being: a humanoid



Skill Set:


  • Incredible dexterity and speed.
  • Capable of making huge jumps to ensnare prey.
  • Lightning-fast reflexes and powerful musculature.


Snorks are humanoid mutants who are amazingly quick and can leap into lethal bounds. If you can keep out of their way, you can inflict plenty of damage with your Kharod AR, but they're tough to anticipate as their spines are shattered and they move frantically.


 Parlour ghosts




Entity: humanoid



Skills:


  • Able to fling objects at targets with telekinetic powers
  • Appears as a glowing ball of energy
  • A humanoid skeleton is left when killed.


A poltergeist is a weird mutant who appears as a sphere of fire or lightning. They will throw things at you due to their telekinetic powers. You have to blast the light orb before they get to you to neutralize their powers.


Burer 



Being: humanoid



Skill Set:


  • Steals weapons with telekinetic powers.
  • Sucks the energy out, making the opponents helpless.
  • With a kinetic shield, they deflect the bullets.



Burers are small-statured mutants that drain your energy and turn off your weapons with their psychic powers. Like the Poltergeists, they can fling objects and create devastating telekinetic damage. The key to defeating them is staying out of sight or using explosives.


Imitation



Creature: humanoid



Skill Set:


  • Projectile-resistant skin.
  • High agility and deadly jump attacks.
  • With the ability to close the gap quickly, fast and powerful.



Mutated chimeras resemble lions but are way more lethal. They're one of the most hazardous monsters to confront because their skin is thick and bullet-proof, and they jump at amazing speed. The trick is to keep your distance, dodge and weave through their attacks while retaliating with your own fire.


In charge



Being: a humanoid



Skill Set:


  • Having the ability to influence the thoughts of less powerful beings.
  • Magical blasts that confuse foes and inflict significant harm.


Controllers are mutants with superhuman intelligence capable of confusing and hurting their victims with telepathic attacks. An already terrifying level of threat gets amplified when they are capable of controlling other creatures' minds. You will need a sniper rifle like the M701 Super to take them out from behind cover if you wish to survive an engagement.


 False-Big



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:


  • Super tough, can take a beating, and keeps on giving.
  • Ground-pounding attack causes massive damage and sends shockwaves.
  • Small but fast and dangerous.


Pseudo-Giants are huge mutants with bulletproof vests and health enough to survive several magazines of bullets. Their ground-pounding strike will crush your legs, and the shockwaves from it will cause massive damage. It is best to take them down with grenades, launchers, or hybrid ARs like Drowned.


A Canine Deaf



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:


  • Acutely developed senses of hearing and smell.


Doesn't see anything, but it is able to detect when a stalker is close. Despite their blindness, blind dogs are very adept trackers due to their sharp sense of smell and hearing. A good counter is going to high ground; they tend to stick to southern areas of the Zone.


Feline



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:


  • Very pointed fangs and teeth.
  • Like Blind Dogs, they attack in small groups.


Mutated felines are common throughout the Zone. They typically appear in pairs and possess sharp beaks and teeth. While not as aggressive as other mutants, they are dangerous due to their speed and pack-attack capabilities.


Curlews



Class: Mammal



Skill Set:


  • Can detect and avoid anomalies.
  • Will enter a state of paralysis to survive emissions.


Although crows look like regular birds, they actually have an exceptional gift for identifying and avoiding unusual situations. They are very good in signaling safe zones in the vicinity since they can tolerate emissions by going into a paralyzed state.
