Your goal in the Seek, And You Shall Find is to find 12 Journalist's Stashes scattered across the vast Chornobyl Exclusion. These caches can only be opened by those who have bought the Stalker 2 Deluxe Edition, but if you have, well, you're in for a treat in the form of many very good weapons and equipment, arguably the best in the game.
After finding the Journalist's Flash Drive at Zalissya's stash and starting the Seek and You Shall Find side objective, your map will be filled in with the locations of all the stashes. You just have to slog across radioactive wastes, perilous swamps, and burned-out woodlands to find them. Here's a thorough guide on all the Journalist's Stash locations in Stalker 2.
This stash is located in the attic of a house in the Lesser Zone region, north of Zalissya. From the blue truck's hood, jump onto the side of the house, then hop to the roof and finally land on a balcony. There, find the cache in the back of the attic by crouching through the opening. It contains a PTM Monolith pistol and a Mercenary's Light Suit.
Head to the Northern Checkpoint, which borders the Garbage zone, in the very north of the Lesser Zone, and you'll find this one. Go all the way to the very west of the Checkpoint to find a ladder leading up a building covered in small grey tiles. Cross the roof using the ladder and jump down to the roof of the little building beside it. This will give you a path to the stash, which contains a Viper Monolith inside.
Sphere, the landmark in the southeastern corner of the Lesser Zone, houses this stockpile. You can go there at any time of your choice, though you'll get there as part of the main quest Behind Seven Seals. Head to the northwestern corner of the compound, and hugging the outer wall, head east until you find a small building with a ladder attached to its western wall. Climb up and you can access the cache on top of the building, near some rusty pipes. There is a personal digital assistant (PDA) with an audio log and an AR416 Monolith inside.
This cache is located just south of the Garbage zone, to the east of the Detention Center. From the Detention Center, head west along the road. If you keep your eyes peeled among the rubble on the right-hand side of the road, you should be able to make out a blue and white bus. Inside is the stash, which contains an M860 Monolith.
You can find this cache in the Garbage zone, in a landmark called the Maze, situated northwest of the Slag Heap. If some mutant rats pop up as you enter the Maze, you'll need to kill them. Avoid a red tanker truck. Go up onto the top of the tank, using the junk to your right, then down the other side. The stash is situated on the ground next to a tram in the foliage. Use this loot to gain the Tourist Suit, one of the best early-game outfits.
North of the Rostok region, but not too far from the Volkhov SAM point of interest, you will find this stash. At the marked location on your map, you can see a low rectangular building with some anomalies nearby. Make your way to it. You can gain access from the east side of the building. Use bolts to extract the anomalies from inside. The cache should be in the back, near the green bunk beds. Inside, Riemann Integral-Firearms and ammunition.
This Journalist's Stash is found in the northwestern part of the map, nestled between the Red Forest and Prypiat, in Yaniv. The stash can be located in the rail yard just east of Yaniv Station, housed on trains. Sledgehammer the lock on the train at the indicated location on the map. Go inside the house and investigate the treasure trove for Model Competitor and ammo.
This stash is located just southwest of the Lesser Zone, in the southern part of the Chemical Plant zone, near the Army Warehouses point of interest. Once you arrive at the stash map marker, you'll see a building with a bunch of Flesh mutants standing outside. Take them out, then proceed to the awning above the front entrance of the building by using the rusty yellow truck on the right. Jump in through the window. To your left and then another to your left into a half-missing wall room is the stash, containing the Fora-221 Lullaby and 5.45x39mm PS ammo.
This Journalist's Stash can be found in Rozyizhdzhe, in the northwest corner of the Burnt Forest sector of the Zone. To find it, head to the map marker to see some deserted, burned-out ruins. You'll want to get out of the region as quickly as possible due to the abundance of mutants and mobile flash anomalies. Use the ladder here to gain access to a cellar in the westernmost ruin. In the depths, there is a Poltergeist thermal anomaly. A surefire way to kill it is shooting at the flame blur that drifts around. The second chamber also contains a stash with the SSP-100M SIRCAA suit.
This is also another stash, located in the Horodyshche Hamlet in the southeast corner of the Swamps. To get there, head to the marker on the map, where there is a small hamlet with a few abandoned wooden buildings. At the edge of the settlement, near the sign, you can see a red tractor. Climb up onto the roof of the tractor, then jump over to the hut and finally to the top. Slice through the planks with your knife to gain access to the attic, and find a cache containing the Veteran sniper rifle and 9x39mm PA ammunition.
We have yet to crack the mystery of the last two Journalist's Stashes. They appear to relate to specific points in the latter stages of the game. When we find them, we'll be updating this guide.
