Changing Where to Find the Hunting Rifle


Once you get to the late-game content in Silent Hill 2, you will have a chance to get the Hunting Rifle. Entering this in will trigger the Serpent Door. Go left and through the gate to backtrack towards Block B. At the back wall you'll see the Serpent Door on your left. Turn facing the Guard Room, exit, and continue past the prison cells that are now locked to the Witness Room. After that, you have to solve a bunch of puzzles to activate the power panel on the wall and flick all of the switches to maximum. When you are ready, pull the switch to unlock all the cells.

With the Death Chamber in use, make your way toward Cell E1. When you open up the wall crack, it will provide you access to the cells on the opposite side. Make your way to Cell E10 and use the second gap in the wall to gain entry into the room containing the Armory Key.
