How to Solve Animal Gong Puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the original Resident Evil 4, which was released for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2005. The remake was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2021. The game follows the story of Leon S. Kennedy, an agent of the US government, as he attempts to rescue the President’s daughter from a cult in rural Spain. 

One of the puzzles players must face in the game is the Animal Gong puzzle. This puzzle involves matching the correct swords to three knights, and then inserting the replica swords in the correct order. Completing this puzzle will give players access to powerful weapons and other rewards.

The Animal Gong puzzle is located in the castle in the game’s second chapter. Before beginning the puzzle, players must collect the Iron, Gold, and Rusted swords from the surrounding area. Once the swords have been collected, players must match each sword to the corresponding knight. 

The Iron Sword belongs to the knight on the left, the Gold Sword belongs to the knight in the middle, and the Rusted Sword belongs to the knight on the right. Once the swords have been matched to the correct knights, players must then insert the replica swords into the correct slots in the wall. 

The correct order for the replica swords is Iron, Gold, and then Rusted. If the swords are placed in the wrong order, the puzzle will reset and players will have to start over. Once the swords have been inserted in the correct order, the Animal Gong puzzle will be solved and players will receive their rewards.
