Resident Evil 4 is one of the most iconic and beloved video games of all time. It's a thrilling and intense survival horror experience that has captivated millions of gamers. In this survival horror classic, players take on the role of Leon S. Kennedy as he investigates the mysterious disappearances of the local population of a rural Spanish village. Along the way, players must battle vicious monsters, solve puzzles, and ultimately try to survive the onslaught of the undead. 


While the original Resident Evil 4 was released way back in 2005, the recently released remake has gamers everywhere clamoring to get their hands on the game. It features updated graphics, improved gameplay, and a few new surprises for players to enjoy. One of the new features in the remake is the Hexagon Pieces, which players must collect in order to unlock bonus content.


Where to Find the Hexagon Pieces 


In the original Resident Evil 4, the Hexagon Pieces were found in various locations throughout the village. In the Resident Evil 4 Remake, however, the pieces have been moved to new locations. Here’s a guide to finding all three of the Hexagon Pieces.

The first Hexagon Piece can be found in a quarry beyond the village. To get to the quarry, head south from the village and follow the path until you reach the quarry. Once you’re there, look for an entrance to a small cave. Head inside and you’ll find the first Hexagon Piece.

  • Beyond the Quarry: Once you’ve obtained the first Hexagon Piece, head out of the quarry and follow the path until you reach a dilapidated building. This building is known as the Merchant’s Hideaway.
  • Enter the Merchant’s Hideaway: Make your way into the hideaway and look for a small box atop a workbench. Inside the box is the second Hexagon Piece.
  • Small Box with Piece atop Workbench: Grab the Hexagon Piece and make your way back out of the hideaway.

The second Hexagon Piece can be found at the fish farm. To get there, head east from the village and follow the path until you reach the fish farm. Once you’re there, look for a wooden platform.

  • Fish Farm: On the wooden platform you’ll find a box. Inside the box is the second Hexagon Piece.
  • Wooden Platform: Grab the Hexagon Piece and make your way back out of the fish farm.
  • Box on Muddy Bank: The third Hexagon Piece can be found at Leon's new boat. To get there, head east from the village and follow the path until you reach a small cave shrine.

Leon's new boat is located in the middle of a lake. To get to the boat, follow the path until you reach the lake. Once you’re there, look for a small cave shrine.

  • Leon's New Boat: Inside the shrine is a church insignia puzzle. Solve the puzzle and you’ll find the third Hexagon Piece.
  • Small Cave Shrine: Grab the Hexagon Piece and make your way back out of the shrine.
  • Church Insignia Puzzle: Once you’ve obtained the third Hexagon Piece, make your way out of the shrine and head to the right. Here you’ll find an open chest with the fourth and final Hexagon Piece inside.
  • Apostate’s Head: Grab the Hexagon Piece and make your way out of the cave.
  • Open Chest to Right: Congratulations! You’ve now collected all four Hexagon Pieces.


The Hexagon Pieces are scattered throughout the game and can be found in a variety of locations. In order to unlock the bonus content, players must find all three pieces.
