RDR2 Photo Mode

Previously in the console version of Red Dead Redemption 2, as part of a secondary mission in Chapter 1, the option of taking photos using a polaroid camera was added. However, it had its limitations mainly because it was acquired as part of a secondary mission. But now this has changed with the new PC version of the title, as it makes things easier for you with the photo mode, offering the following:- Support for widescreen.

  • - Faster frame rate.
  • - 4K resolution for PC.
  • - Support for multiple monitors.

Without a doubt it is a quite remarkable improvement that its creators have decided to add to the game.

What does this photo mode offer?

The first thing you need to know is that you can use it anywhere in the game, allowing you to edit photos by playing with filters, focus and blur, contrast and exposure.

On top of that, the camera has the ability to become a drone, which means you can explore the area around Arthur, circling and orbiting Arthur with the aim of getting manic train robbery shots.

How to use the photo mode in Red Dead Redemption 2?

To do this, you will need to press the F6 key on your keyboard from the Pause Menu. However, you have the option to reassign it in the keyboard and mouse settings to press F6 while you are in the game.

Where are the images stored?

The new PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to upload photos taken at the Rockstar Social Club.

Here we'll show you all the features of this photo mode so you get a complete picture of everything you can enjoy:

Effects: The game offers a variety of filters and modern effects, with options to adjust the intensity. However, the contrast allows you to adjust the brightness to better distinguish the image.

Basic controls: The Orbit gives you the ability to move the camera with the focus, while the free camera lets you separate it completely from the main character. The camera's manipulation options involve Roll, Zoom and different lens openings.

Advanced controls: The blur force will give you information on how blurry objects are outside the focusing distance, while the focusing distance determines where the camera's view focuses, meaning you can zoom in very close to blur distant objects.

As for the exposure, it can artificially increase or decrease it, illuminating or obscuring the scenario in question. Now, the exposure lock allows you to lock the exposure at your current level.

This is basically all you need to know about the photo mode of PC version Red Dead Redemption 2. Will you be encouraged to use it?
