For several years, drones have been causing a lot of commotion among the community. These devices that resemble a mini helicopter with very modern designs have become very popular for some time. Even in Rage 2 they are becoming a trend since Rage 2 puts users looking for 30 Spy Drone locations for the Mata Hari Manners trophy or achievement.
The Rage 2 drones are black flying devices which are attached to walls or structures in places around the open world. They are easy to recognize and locate relatively close thanks to the sound they produce which resembles a loud buzz.
When aiming at the drones they'll fly to locate themselves in another place and if you them you'll get an intelligence record and some XP towards the level of Search and Recovery Project.
The Spy Drone can appear in 1 of 2 potential points, and the drone's start location is selected randomly between the two when you start a game so it's possible to find some that aren't in these places or that can go to these places and not find a drone.
We recommend you to be attentive to the places that you're discarding from the list, and as we mentioned before, drones are relatively easy to locate thanks to the buzz they produce when you return, so also be aware of it.
There is also an update in Level 3 of the Search and Recovery Project that shows a proximity radar of a drone that can be very useful.
The exact location of the drones may be inaccurate, it isn't like a location 100% detailed, they may appear on the ground or outside of the building. Keep in mind that they are almost always in covered places, but with open doors.
Rage 2 Spy Drones Locations - (Mata Hari Manners Trophy)
Twisting Canyons Region.
Bandit Den - Gazcatraz. Halfway through the area, on a wall just behind the long pipe that passes over most of the area.
Bandit Den - Doomsayer Peak. At the back of the building there is a round-trip staircase that goes up inside the building. Just above the door on the ground floor is one of the 30 Spy Drone.
Exploration location - Checkpoint Bridge. Starting from the top of the bridge, the Spy Drone is in the flat structure to which the highest zip line leads, you must be careful not to escape.
Broken Tract Region.
Bandit Den - Advance wrapped. Climb the stairs at the bottom of the covered part of the Bandit Den walkway - Underground passage - On a pillar on the top floor, to the left of the zip line Scan location - Alex's Workshop - Just north of Bridge Block Road Choker, Climb the elevator to this location and then exit immediately Bandit Den - The Edge - Rear wall of the main building that crosses to get to the side of the cliff.
Pit Stop - Fresh Juice Stop - It's just below the edge of the roof structure of the service station.
Bandit Den - Goon Bridge. You'll have to climb the first flight of stairs to the long walkway where it divides forward and to the right, turn and you'll see another of the 30 Spy Drone on the wall, on top of the walkway.
Bandit Den - Razorneck Roost. Head to the south side of the large building at the end of the metal structure on top of the wall is this Spy Drone.
