It serves as a badge of honor for players who have unlocked one of the game's more unique achievements, the Animal Serenading badge. Unlike other cosmetic items that can be unlocked through standard progression, this one requires a specific series of actions.This guide will walk you through the precise steps to get a bugle, find the elusive capybaras, and unlock your Kril Hat.

PEAK: How To Get the Kril Hat

Step 1: Finding a Bugle

The bugle is the most crucial item for this challenge. While it is a rare item, it has a few potential spawn locations you can check during your climb.

• Starting Location: Check the plane crash site at the beginning of the game. Some players report the bugle can be found there.
• Ancient Luggage: Keep an eye out for ancient luggage scattered throughout the map. The bugle has a chance to spawn inside.
• Mystical Drops: Rare mystical items, including the bugle, can sometimes be found near statues or other unique landmarks.

You can use either the standard bugle or the rare Bugle of Friendship to complete this challenge.

Step 2: Finding a Capybara

The capybara is a shy creature that can only be found in a specificbiome, and their location changes with every new map generation.

• The Alpine Biome: The capybaras are native to the Alpine biome, the third main area you will climb. It is characterized by snow, ice, and cold temperatures.
• Check for Steam: Capybaras love to relax in a hot spring. From a high vantage point, look for a small column of white steam rising from a ledge on the mountain. This is the surest sign that you are close to them.

Important Note on the Mesa Update: The recent Mesa update replaced the Alpine biome for a limited time. If you are playing on a Mesa map, you will not find any capybaras, so youmust wait for the Alpine biome to return.

Once you have both the bugle and have located a group of capybaras in their hot spring, the final step is simple.

Equip the Bugle: Equip the bugle from your inventory.

Play the Instrument: Stand in front of the capybaras and play the bugle.
