This exhilarating feat requires you to perform a spectacular stunt that rewards not only a unique cosmetic but a thrilling sense of accomplishment. The badge, along with its accompanying helmet, is a must-have for any adventurer looking to prove their skill and bravery.This guide will walk you through the entire process of obtaining the Daredevil Badge, detailing everything from finding the right gear to executing the perfect launch.

PEAK: How to Get the Daredevil Badge

Part 1: The Essentials - Finding a Scout Cannon

To earn the Daredevil Badge, your primary objective is to use a Scout Cannon to launch yourself or a friend across the massive Mesa Canyon. Your first step, therefore, is to acquire this crucial piece of equipment.

• What is a Scout Cannon? The Scout Cannon is a heavy, single-use item that fires its user a great distance. It weighs 15 units, making it cumbersome to carry, but it is an invaluable tool for horizontal traversal.
• Where to Find It: Scout Cannons are most commonly found inside white suitcases, which are scattered across the map. These suitcases can be found in various biomes, so keep a keen eye out for them in your travels.
• A Pro-Tip for Mobility: Given its heavy weight, it can be difficult to carry the Scout Cannon while also navigating treacherous terrain. We highly recommend using Balloons to assist with mobility and to help you manage the item's weight, ensuring a smoother journey to the Mesa biome.

Part 2: The Stunt - Launching Across the Mesa Canyon

Once you've made it to the Mesa biome, you'll encounter a colossalcanyon that serves as a major obstacle before the main vertical climb.While you could spend time climbing down and up, using the Scout Cannonis a much more efficient—and fun—way to get across.

Method 1: The Co-op Launch

This is the safest and most recommended method, as it allows for precise teamwork.

Place the Cannon: Find a flat, stable spot on your side of the canyon. Place the ScoutCannon on the ground and adjust its position. A blue arrow outline willappear, indicating the trajectory of the launch. Aim this arrow directly at a safe landing spot on the other side of the canyon, ensuring it'snot pointing into a wall or a dangerous drop.

Take Your Position: Have your teammate climb into the cannon's front.

Light the Fuse: As the launch operator, you must now move to the back of the cannon and light its fuse.

Watch the Launch: Stand back and watch as your friend is blasted across the canyon. Ifthey land safely on the other side, you will both be awarded theDaredevil Badge.

Method 2: The Solo Launch

If you're playing alone, the process is a bit more challenging but still achievable.

Place the Cannon: Just as in the co-op method, place the Scout Cannon on the ground,aiming its blue arrow towards a safe landing spot across the canyon.

Ignite and Go: Light the fuse on the back of the cannon. The fuse is on a timer, so you must act quickly.

Leap of Faith: Immediately after lighting the fuse, run to the front of the cannon and get inside before it fires. The timing is very tight, so it may take afew tries.

Upon a successful solo launch and a safe landing on the other side of the canyon, you will unlock the Daredevil Badge.

Tips for a Successful Stunt

• Aim for the Center: When getting into the cannon, try to position yourself as close to thecenter as possible. Being off-center can cause you to be launched in anunexpected direction, potentially slamming into a wall and resulting in a fatal fall.
• Use Balloons: If you are the onebeing launched, having Balloons equipped can provide you with additional aerial mobility to help you adjust your flight path and soften yourlanding.
• The Reward: Upon successfully completingthe stunt, you will be rewarded with the Daredevil Badge and a stylishCrash Helmet, which you can equip from your inventory.
