Quest Initiation: The Merchant's Plea in Valore

Upon completing Chapter 1 of the "Master of Wealth" storyline, a new secondary quest marker will appear in the town of Valore. Head to the Main Boulevard and speak with the concerned merchant. He will explain his unique predicament: he possesses the final cask of a famed Valore vintage but cannot locate a suitable buyer. Accepting his request to help sets your objective: find the elusive connoisseur.The Journey: Traveling from Valore to Teathropolis
Your destination is the city of Teathropolis, located within the Flatlands Region. This is also a key location for the "Master of Fame" storyline. To reach it safely:

Depart Valore and follow the Valore Trail north.

At the fork, head east into the West Emberglow Wilds.

Continue east until you reach the North Teathropolis Plains.

Finally, head south into the Teathropolis Plains to find the city entrance.

Pro Travel Tip: The journey can be perilous. Optimize your party's survival by managing your formation. Use the Party Menu to place sturdy characters in the Front Row (Vanguard) to absorb attacks, while keeping support or recovering characters in the Back Row (Rearguard). Remember, you can swap a character's row during their turn in battle by pressing ZR (on Nintendo Switch).

Locating the Buyer: A Noble in Teathropolis
Once inside Teathropolis, your target is the local tavern, identifiable by the Beer Mug icon next to its door. Inside, navigate to the upper-right corner. Here, you will find a well-dressed NPC in red attire—the Noble LiquorConnoisseur.

Interacting with him via the Inquire path action (default Y button) will reveal his passion for fine spirits from Valore. However, inquiry alone isn't enough. To proceed, you must Hire him as a helper. Select the Hire option from the bottom of the path action menu to add him to your entourage.

Quest Completion: The Return to Valore
With the connoisseur now accompanying you, retrace your steps back toValore. Speak with the anxious merchant once more. The noble willfacilitate the sale, successfully concluding "The Last Cask" quest. Foryour efforts, you will be generously rewarded with 3,500 Leaves.
