🔑 Phase 1: Unlocking the Salon Blueprint

The ability to construct the Salon in your hometown of Wishvale is not granted immediately. It is gated behind a series of critical town-leveling objectives that form a core part of the game's early-to-mid-game progression.

1. Progress the Main Questline

The Salon is tied directly to the "Kindlers of the Flame" main quest arc, which tasks you with rebuilding the ruined settlementof Wishvale. You must consistently follow the quest markers for thisline until you reach a specific milestone:

• Reach Rippletide: You must progress far enough in the quest to unlock the Rippletide location within the Coastlands Region.
• Recruit Illian and Olive: Once in Rippletide, you must locate and speak to the key NPCs, Illian and Olive, who are typically found across the main bridge. This conversation initiates a recruitment side mission.
• Build Housing and Invite: Return to Wishvale, use the Town Building mode to construct a largehouse specifically for them, and then travel back to Rippletide toformally invite them to move to Wishvale. Finally, assign them to thehouse you prepared.

2. Achieve Town Level 3

The Salon blueprint is ultimately unlocked when your town of Wishvale reaches Level 3. Recruiting Illian, Olive, and completing all related side missions tied to increasing your resident count are mandatory steps.

• The Magic Number: You must have a total of 15 residents successfully living and assigned roles in Wishvale.
• Blueprint Reward: Once the town officially upgrades to Level 3 (or potentially Level 4,depending on the exact stage of the "Kindlers of the Flame" questlineyou are at), the blueprint for the Salon will automatically becomeavailable in your Town Building menu.

Building the Grade 1 Salon requires the following materials:

• Lumber: 20 units
• Stone: 20 units
• Cloth: 20 units

After gathering the necessary resources, build the Salon in the location of your choice within Wishvale.

Assign a Resident

Like all major town buildings, the Salon needs a dedicated resident to staff it. Switch to the Town Building mode, select the newly built Salon, and use the Housing option to assign one of your available recruited NPCs to the building.This is the NPC you will interact with to initiate the appearancechange.

🎨 Phase 3: Upgrading for Full Customization

Upon building the Grade 1 Salon, you gain only basic customization options.To unlock the full suite of character appearance changes, you mustinvest in two mandatory upgrades. These upgrades are crucial as theyrequire a rare, elite material: Radiant Cornerstones.

Radiant Cornerstones are special, valuable items that are dropped only by elite enemies found in various overworld dungeons and high-level areas. You will need to actively hunt these stronger foes to gather the required material.
