How to Drop and Climb Ladders in No Rest For The Wicked

There are some stairs that can cause some problems as we progress through Sacrament. Since these cannot be taken down with ranged weapons, we must traverse the map to approach them from a different angle than when they were first seen. The first staircase in the game can be found on the western shore of the shoals, to the left of the damaged wall that leads to the fort outside Mariner's Keep. We will find it if we cross the narrow wooden plank on the rocky coast. To release the ladder, we just enter the fort and advance while hugging the wall, soon we will reach a flight of stairs that leads to an accessible tower.

It is our job to defeat the enemies inside and go down the ladder next to the entrance to release it. Then, we will use the interaction key to drop the next ladder which is located on the east side of the coast, near the sewers, here is the second ladder of the first area. To access it, we will go through Mariner's Keep and continue towards the unlowered bridge that leads to Warrick The Torn.

However, instead of crossing the bridge or taking the elevator, we can venture onto the adjacent screen, descending the vines and subsequent ladder to reach the platform housing the kickable ladder. In other regions there are similar stairs that work according to the same principles, we just have to take into account the general location of the staircase and navigate towards it while consulting the map, at the end, we can be rewarded with a chest if luck is with us.
