Now that there are only a few weeks left until the final release of the awaited K Hearts 3, Tetsuya Nomura, his live show, seems more open to talk about the difficulties of his development. Among some of them that were found there was even a change of graphic engine, which according to him, was a decision that was not taken by the development team, and that caused the process to be delayed more than desirable, as we have seen all these months.

The development of Kingdom Hearts 3 began on the Luminous Engine, the own engine of Square Enix and on which it runs Final Fantasy XV, for example, but according to Nomura, at a certain point it was decided to make the jump to the Unreal Engine 4.
