Gears 5: How to Get Components - tips and tricks - Ultimate Guide

In this guide you can find everything you need to know to get components in Gears 5.

This is the name of the robotic companion that accompanies the protagonist since the beginning of the series and helps him fight any problem. As in its predecessors, in this new installment you can upgrade to Jack so that his skills and abilities are better and to get his performance to the best it can be.

To upgrade your faithful robotic assistant you will have to get components and in this guide we will tell you how to do it.

Before you start with the good, first of all, you should know that the game is riddled with a lot of components, so they are not so difficult to find. However, there are so many that you will not really use them all to update your assistant.

Next, we will leave the locations in several chapters, where you can find the components that you will use in the early updates.

Go to the armory, there you will find one on the floor.

After eliminating the Juvies, you will have to go to the office that has floor tiles and look next to the exit door.

Once Swarmak breaks down the side of the building, you will have to go up the stairs and check the desks that are on the left side.

Head across the roof from the last component and go down the stairs where another COG shoots at you. Then go to the left and check the yellow box on the wall below the stairs.

Go to where the civilians are held and enter directly into the washing machine room in front of you. Another can be found just to the right as you enter.

At the beginning of the chapter when going down the stairs you will have to check the first open door on the left side.

In the hotel warehouse you will have to open the giant shutter door and check the back of the truck.

In the hallway after the warehouse turn right to enter a bedding room. Upon entering you will have to check on the right wall where the yellow box is.

In the theater you will have to head up and enter the dressing room on the left. Here you will have to look through the first door on the right and zoom in to the component that is on the back shelf and press X when you point it so that Jack catches it.

When eliminating DeeBees and DR-1 you will have to go out and look for the electrical room that is before the stairs. Check the yellow box on the wall.

Once you have a few you can open Jack's menu and select some of his skills to improve them.
