Capcom confrimo that, Devil May Cry 5 will have an online multiplayer mode - for the first time in the saga, which will be called "Cameo" System.


The cameo system of Devil May Cry 5 will only take place during the missions in which three characters coincide (Nero, Dante and V). Although sometimes you can see another player fighting in the distance, you can not interact. At other times you can collaborate directly, being able to combine attacks to obtain devastating results.



Capcom clarified that to enjoy the online multiplayer of Devil May Cry 5 will be necessary to have a subscription to PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold.
