Koei Tecmo has finalized the resolutions for Dead or Alive 6, at least for those who plan to run it on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. In a statement to WCCF Tech, Team Ninja stated that the PS4 Pro version would work in a 1080p resolution . The Xbox One X can reach a maximum resolution of 4K.

The developer stated that, "PlayStation 4 Pro allows a resolution of 1080p that maintains the speed of processing, and the quality of the stages and the effects will be greater than in the base PS4. On the other hand, Xbox One X will reach a maximum resolution of 4K that is different from the base of Xbox One. It is impossible to maintain 60 fps at all times with 4K resolution, but you will enjoy beautiful graphics.

"There are some options to prioritize graphics or actions so you can choose which one you prefer." These options can be found in Nioh on PS4, which also developed Team Ninja, so it is not strange to see them return in Dead or Alive 6.

what is strange is that there will be no support for high dynamic range (HDR) lighting in the PC version. Only those who play on Xbox One X will have support for HDR, which is an interesting option, since the best PCs will probably offer better frame rate performance. However, we will see how the different versions compare in due time. Dead or Alive 6 will be released on March 1 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC after having been delayed since its original February date.
