Battlefield V, one of the main attractions of the FPS developed by DICE and Electronic Arts lies in its free updates through Winds of War mode. Following the plans announced last October, the war shooter set in the Second World War welcomes a new extension, Lightning Strike, which includes the combined weapons mode. It is an online multiplayer mode that takes place in different war scenarios: Market Sweep, Desert Declarations, Bricks and Mortars, Bridgehead Blockade (which travel through famous scenarios such as North Africa and the European front). This mode will be available from the month of February.

Lightning Strikes for Battlefield 5 includes new vehicles: tanks and planes, weapons and various pieces of equipment for our company. But the veterans will surely appreciate more the return of the Rush mode, in which the battlefield was evolving as the conflict progressed. A few weeks after the release of Battlefield V we were able to enjoy the first War Wind, Overture, with a new chapter of War Stories and new multiplayer maps. And in March will come the third expansion, Trial by Fire, in which we can finally play battle royale mode baptized as Firestorm.

The content that is included in Battlefield V is impeccable, although it falls short compared to other games in the genre. However, it is a long-term release, designed for players to continue enjoying it in several months, thanks to the constant updates of the winds of war. If the DICE plans are met with respect to free updates, we will be facing one of the best multiplayer "shooter" of the generation; one of the few who have been able to cover the Second World War in all its greatness. And of course, the one that has achieved the highest technical performance.

Battlefield V starts the new year with a new multiplayer update for its series of live Tides of War operations. The update of Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes will be available on Tuesday, January 15, as a free update of downloadable content (DLC).

It includes Squad Contest, a tighter and more intense version of the 64-player Conquest battle that allows more online tactical matches between two eight-player teams on the maps of Arras, Rotterdam and Hamada. This adds a fast action mode in the style of Call of Duty to the combat repertoire of the battlefield V.

The update will have four new weapons: the Zk-383 SMG (Medic class); the Model 1944 semiautomatic rifle (Assault class); the M1922 MMG (support class); and the mk. Bolt Rifle III (Recon class).

A new Great Operation, called Battle of Hannut, will also come with Chapter 2. Set in the French and Belgian countryside, players will fight in Airborne, Breakthrough and, for the first time in a Grand Operation, in Rush mode.

EA's DICE study also addressed the controversial corrections of Time to Death and Death Experience, following community comments in those areas.

Combined Arms, a cooperative experience, will be launched with Chapter 2 in February. In the first Combined Weapons effort, players will attempt a single target surgical attack on eight missions. Players can also expect the return of Rush mode exclusively for a limited time in March.

In Rush mode, the target depends on whether you are on the attack or defense side. The mode will be available on the Twisted Steel, Narvik and Devastation maps. Other content, such as Tank Hunter vehicles, will be added to Battlefield V in later updates throughout Lightning Strikes.

Squad Conquest, a more concentrated version of the 64-player Conquest mode, will arrive on battlefield V as part of Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes, but will only be available from January 17 to 30. I hope that because I have 64 players. It is often too much in a concentrated space, so you hardly know where the attacks come from.
