This wood can be obtained from resource nodes after crafting a bronze axe, in order to break the more difficult nodes. You can chop the cacti around the workshop in the desert, to get some hardwood pieces, cactus spikes, and fruit.

You can also chop up any dead wood you find, or the quality scrap piles around the salvage shop.

These resources are replenished at the beginning of each day. But in itself, we recommend you to cut down as many cactus trees and Deadwood trees as you can, collect them in a storage chest and create refined resources with the tools of the Workshop.
