To swim you will need help from a Monstie, in the same way as most things you do in the world, but it will take some time before you can do it, it all depends on how fast you advance in the story.

The first Monster you will encounter with the ability to swim is Royal Ludroth, after positioning yourself in the second region of the game. At this point you will have to continue searching for Monster Dens in search of a Royal Ludroth egg or confront one directly, to make it retreat to its Den, where you will find a Royal Ludroth egg. Remember to always have at least one Monster in your group that can swim.

When the Monstie is in your group, what you must do is to approach the waters of the swallows to dive and be able to swim as far as possible around the boundaries.
